Generally speaking, they offer varied and well balanced meals for your dog consisting of multiple ingredients. Although there are some raw food options available, most of the companies reviewed here offer cooked fresh food. The frequency of preparation depends on the individual company's shipping schedule, packaging process, and shipping constraints. Many companies portion their food into vacuum-sealed containers which are then frozen and delivered in insulated packaging.

Marketplaces - These are online stores that offer a multitude of dog food options from different providers. Types of food can include wet, dry, prescription, freeze-dried, special diets, human grade, dehydrated, and even treats and chewies.

Dog food meal delivery services are a relatively new, but growing phenomenon. Most companies are no more than two years old, making it a little difficult to judge reputation for customer experience and satisfaction. We've taken into consideration each company's BBB grade, as well as complaints and reviews on the site.
