Always late on shipments and dog runs out of food. Their response...Here's a simple recipe you can make while you wait. So, I now have to do what I'm paying them to do. Find some other place to get the food from. This is just too much of a hassle.

This is a great company. Great food and customer service. They actually sent me an expensive bouquet of flowers when my dog died. My own family did not do this! My dog loves this food and it has everything he needs in it. Came in a wonderful insulated container box and was fully frozen.

The team at The Farmer's Dog doesn't just make delicious food, they don't just provide great customer service, they nurture our pets, and provide exceptional, out of this world, true heartfelt kindness. Our baby LOVED his food for 3+ years, licked every last drop from the bowl. And then we got the worst news last week, and I had to cancel our subscription. Sam and the team at The Farmer's Dog were so thoughtful and kind in dealing with the account changes. But then... they sent us flowers and a note to let us know they were thinking of us. Can you imagine - they took time and $ to let us know that we were valued. I'm in awe and so very grateful for the kindness shown to my family this... Read More

Just got my first box for Sebastian, my 20 lb. shih-tzu. Mr. Picky literally cleans the bowl. Food looks great and no dog food smell. Hoping that judging from the negative comments I will not change my mind. For the present I am loving the food, convenience. Keep up the good work.

After completing the lengthy questionnaire process to order this food, was told my prepaid card would not be accepted. Now obviously, my prepaid Visa card is just that: prepaid. So they know there absolutely going to get their money there. But they won’t accept that. Because they don’t want my payment. They want the ability to reach into my pocket and take *further* payments, without my permission. Wrote owner and they said they were “working on being able being able to accept prepaid cards”. (This was a Visa, btw.) I pointed out that as a business owner I know that they can take these payments just like any other Visa card, and they don’t have to “work on being able” to take them, they... Read More

While the food may be good, try to cancel future shipments, YOU CAN'T. I called them, they sent me a private link to cancel, I did. They continue to send food and steal my money. STAY AWAY!

I'm a vet and one of my clients put her dog on this food on her own accord. At first she did well (less GI problems, less.skin problems) but then was.losing weight... my concern is the amount of roughage in the diets. Why would a dog eat kale? The c hu unks of sweet potato were too large for a 16 pound dog who doesnt chew her food....basically were coming out the other end undigested. I suggest smaller pieces... My concern is that the caloric intake wasnt appropriate. It's quite wholesome though.

Yeah, well, just try going to your account on their customer portal and canceling the subscription. No place to do so. So disappointing as they really did look like a great company.

The company is completely unreliable when it comes to shipping. Twice we have received another dogs food and not our dogs. So 2 dogs were without food and another time the food arrived rotting. And the customer service is awful, too. They do nothing.
