The site was easy to use and understand. I had a question about what to do if our 2-week vacation covered two different countries, and was able to call the support phone number and get assistance quickly. I was assured that as long as the two country visits fell within the dates of the policy, that it would be covered. The ability to easily compare the insurance options was also very helpful.

I paid $500 for $8000 coverage for a Norwegian coastal cruise. I got a very severe nosebleed the day before our airline departure to Norway and could not go. They will not pay a claim because the problem did not occur DURING the trip. A lot of money down the drain.
Unfortunately I cannot leave zero stars.

I was unable to revise my trip online due to an error code that kept appearing. I called multiple times the past week but could never get a real person to talk with me. Finally today I found a different number and reached Nelson. He was such a kind, soft-spoken man and he gently talked to me through my tears. I was read to just cancel the whole insurance policy but Nelson was so kind and helpful I decided to give your company another try. Nelson deserves special recognitions for professionalism, kindness and and helpfulness!

Just took out policy for my trip. First time using Generali Global Assistance. The website is easy to use and to choose a policy...very smooth. I will write a follow-up review if it calls for it, but I am hoping not to have to use this insurance. I would rather have the insurance, but not need to use the insurance :-)
