Their website forces you into leaving your contact information. I backed out of it before leaving my phone information. Yet they still called me. When I politely mentioned that I did not want a call, they hung up on me. Even though they are rated number one on your website, I will not be using them.

I'm glad that this is so highly rated but we have had a dreadful experience. We ordered a unit with 2-day shipping due to an acute situation. The unit was defective; we had to wait 3 days for a replacement (over a holiday weekend). That unit worked but the company sent an incompatible pendant and wristband. We have to wait 2 more days for the correct ones. And we've needed to have people available to come to the relative's home to set it up, activate it, and talk on the phone -- an hour each time by the time the troubleshooting is finished. It's been a week; three hours' time; and we still have no service. We're exceedingly disappointed and worried about our relative.

I thought it was pretty good until my mom fell twice and it didn't alert me or the paramedics

Thankfully I haven't had to use my Medical Guardian system yet I am confident for when the time comes. I test the equipment monthly and feel confident that when I press the button it's going to work and my needs will be met. I wear my buttons around my neck but for the days that I dont want the buttons to show, I have a wristband as well.
Its cost effective and the GPS system gives me piece of mind when I do something as simple as walk the dog or travel cross country. I'm a supporter.
Excellent online information made the decision to purchase the Medical Guardian system easy! They also have great customer support - informed, efficient and friendly. This system has given my mother-in-law much needed security.
I purchased a system for my mother 2 years ago. She has used it 5 times. Four of the times either myself, my wife or my brother have gone there to help. One time a nice police officer was summoned to help her up in a supermarket parking lot. My mom has recommended the system to 12 of her friends so far! She loves it!!
I have had my Medical Guardian for a year it gives the satisfaction that someone will come if I

I did a lot of research before deciding which medical alert system to purchase for my mother. The cost was of course a factor, but more important was thier alert response, equipment features, and customer service. Most reviews stated that the equipment and technology used by alert companies are all pretty much the same. So what led me to choose MG was their alert response time (quickest), and their operators quickly answer (live) and only handle one alert call at a time - which is not true for all companies. Haven't had to use my device for an emergency, but did just a test today that made me happy with my choice of this device. I was using a golf cart to walk my 2 dogs and was on a road where there are very few houses. With no actual address where I was, I wondered if it would pinpoint my location. Response to my pushing the button on my pendant was answered quite quickly and I responded by saying I was just testing my device. When I asked if they could determine my location, at first they said I appeared to be at home. I was not but could see my home from where I was. I received a mobile guardian, which arrived in a manilla envelope, but unfortunately, there were no instructions included.
