Bay Alarm Medical Alert review
First of all, we are truly grateful that we have not had an emergency. Recently though I received an email stating that my mother's unit/alarm was showing "low battery". I live an hour and 1/2 away. When I visited last Tuesday, February 15 we tested the system. I told the person who answered the call about the "low battery", and she told me another necklace was being sent out. I did not ask for another necklace. This information was offered. I was relieved. But then on Thursday February 17, my mother received a call and she told them to call my brother. Then they called me. Everyone is very nice on the phone, but then we were all told the unit needed to be tested. I could have easily done that on Tuesday, the 15th, no problem. My concern now is that I have learned that the person I am speaking to on the phone may not know the REAL answer. I told the person I spoke with on the 17th that I was told on the 15th that a new necklace was being sent out. Her response to me was that the responders to not have the power to order a new necklace. But that was not my question. The responder volunteered that info. My point: it shakes my faith in a company when the people I encounter have different answers. I felt so good on the 15th that a necklace was being sent out. In the end, after the "testing", a necklace is on its way.

I'm pleased with the service. Fortunately, I haven't had to use it in an emergency. But I have a suggestion. For the fall detection monitor I have, the instructions say that when charging, when the light goes from red to green, it's charged. Unfortunately many men like me are color blind (women don't get it but pass the gene on to their son(s)) so I can't tell when the light changes from red to green. Several other devices I have from other manufactures say that when charging, the LED is flashing. When it stops flashing and is on solid, the battery is charged. Surely you could do the same.

Best of 5 services I have had by far! Lowest price I have paid. Equipment as good as or better than any. Response time is remarkable. My search for a decent device and company is ended.

I have Life Station and altho I haven't had to use it, I feel very comfortable with it. When I do a test, I get rapic response and usually have a very short cordial visit. Thank you, Life Station.

LifeStation Medical Alert review
My Mother purchased LifeStation while she was a caregiver for my Father. The home health nurse talked her into it because if Mom fell, no one would be there to take care of either of them. She had it for a year after Dad passed away and almost canceled it but decided not to. A month later she fell and broke her hip and couldn't move. She pushed her button and they responded quickly. She had the lock box so they didn't have to break her door to get to her. She had the wristband so she never removed it and thank goodness for that. She could have died before someone found her laying on the floor. We are glad every day that she keeps this system.
