For the sake of education and peace-of-mind, this company provides a sample contract and quote calculator on their website. In exchange for a $75 administration fee, they also offer a pro-rated refund if the initial 30 days have expired.

Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

My last call with Select Home Warranty was positive. Information that was requested was finally received and I am awaiting a resolution to my repair. It has been approximately 2 weeks since my Dishwasher went out and I placed my claim in on 04/02/2020 so I pray that the problem will be resolved soon.

I was searching to begin again using a home warranty company. Select warranty with Sarah which give great price for necessary coverage. Jonathan did followup call and offer a more economical plan the company had. Since, I plan to continue coverage for several years, Jonathan price was very beneficial for my home needs.

Select home warranty is the best.. they’ve tried getting a tech out to property but unfortunately due to the pandemic they are unable to come out to diagnose the problem but select did authorize an out of pocket expense which they will fully refund the repair work..

No hot water at one of the tubs in the home. I went on line and filed a claim. Then I had to make several follow up call over a 9 day period. Finally I spoke to a manager. He read the notes, spoke and listened well (english) and case solved in 3min. 5star rated plumber on his way. It should have been this simple from the beginning.

The GFI in our garage would not reset. I couldn't get the garage door to open. I contacted Florence at Select Home Warranty and she submitted my claim right away. She was very pleasant. You could"hear" the smile in her voice. I received an email saying they would be working to find a contractor for repairs.
