Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I have been trying to get my room heater fixed since Novembeer 2022 and it is still not fixed. I had 4 contractors come out to my house and only one replied back to the warranty company on the issue. I paid a $75 deductible twice for two separate contractors and they said to send a receipt for the second time and they would reimburse me. I send the claim on November 24th, 2022 and they never refunded me the $75 deductible. I called on January 17, 2023 about the refund and they said there was no option for that. That would give me a credit on my next service call or give me 10% off monthly fee, but at this point I did not want to use... Read More

My HVAC system maintenance company completed service on my Heat, found major problem with motor leaking oil and failing motor working off and on. I contacted Select filed a claim to make repairs. It took over a week before I technician came out. Part of the problem was technician Select uses does not work with the Select automatic scheduling system. Also Select gave the Technician wrong telephone number to contact me for an appointment. Select technician arrived checked the unit, and agreed there was a problem. I paid the technician as per my contract the service fee. Technician submitted the information to Select for repairs. I had to call Select Customer Service at least 6 times, in... Read More

I suggest that you never deal with this company, Their contract is written to exclude items such as leaks from an appliance like a water heater, which will exclude their repair or replacement of such an item. The customer claim service is a joke. They are not helpful and hold times on the phone are ridiculous. Had I the opportunity I would rate no stars for this company.
