Landmark’s coverage varies by state. Furthermore, there are two plan categories depending on the customer's situation.

The Homeowner Plan is for those who have already owned their house for 30 days. The Real Estate Plan is for new home purchase. The following details regarding coverage and pricing will be examples of the Homeowner Plan.

Like the service fee, Landmark's yearly premium for its Homeowner Plans varies by state.

In Utah, Oregon, and Idaho, choosing the $100 service fee will produce a $350 premium for the Home System Plan, and a $600 premium for the Total Protection Plan. If you were to opt for the $60 service fee, this would increase the Home System Plan premium to $400, and the Total Protection Plan to $650.

In Texas, Nevada, and Arizona, the $100 service fee will yield a $360 premium for the Home Systems Plan, and a $610 premium for the Total Protection Plan. Finally, in these states, choosing the $70 service fee will cost $425 for the Home Systems Plan and $675 for Total Protection.

Landmark has an online quote calculator available on their website, for customers who'd like more specifics. If the policyholder chooses to cancel, Landmark offers a 30-day, full money-back guarantee, with the exception of a $40 administration fee.

Cancellation Policy

a) LHW may not cancel this contract during the initial term for which it was issued, except for any of the following reasons: (1) the contract holder does not pay a fee or charge due under the terms of this contract; (2) the contract holder engages in fraud or misrepresentation of facts material to the issuance of the contract; (3) an interest in the residential property covered under this contract is sold, and the contract is contingent on an interest in the property not being sold. b) If contract is cancelled, homeowner shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $40 administrative fee, and any actual service costs incurred by LHW. If listing coverage is cancelled after service has been performed, and the contract fee has not yet been paid, contract holder will be responsible for purchase of contract, or reimbursement to LHW of service costs incurred, whichever is less. c) Cancellation may be made by Contract Holder at any time. If cancelled within 30 days of acceptance of LHW, and no service request has been made, the Contract Holder is entitled to a full refund of the contract proceeds less an administrative fee of $40. Utah Residents: If Contract is cancelled by us, cancellation will be effective no sooner than 10 days for paragraph A.1, and 30 days for A.2 and A.3 after delivery or 1st class mailing of a written notice to the contract holder.

We have loved having a warranty through this company! I cannot think of a claim they have denied and the contractors are always very professional and clean cut! This is the second home we have had a warranty through them and it is the best money spent in both cases!

We moved into a new house and had previously had landmark at our old so we gave them another chance at the new... boy we should have just kept the $400 for the service and used it to pay the 1,200 bill to have our a/c fixed after they sent out a worthless a/c company, who they we had to fight with for 2 weeks to get all the costs and parts figured out all while our a/c is dripping outside, and it’s only a matter of time before it starts leaking through my ceiling. After 2 weeks the company finally decides they want to come fix our a/c but it won’t be for another week. I wish SO bad I could give Landmark Home Warranty ZERO stars!!!!! We made a HUGE mistake by not looking online at the company reviews when we went with Landmark. They have been an absolute nightmare and a complete s*** show to work with. Our AC unit went out and they got a contract company to come out and diagnose the issue on a Friday morning. The guy told us what part needed to be fixed and that they would return on Monday to fix it with the part needed. We didn't hear anything about what time they were coming so we called to follow up on Monday morning... there was no record of our AC unit needing a part. 3 Months of waiting!!!!! Landmark has really made me very disappointed at their service. The contractor has already come 5 times in a period of 3 months. I have been reading reviews and many people have been disappointed as well, but not to the magnitude that I have been disappointed. Landmark replaced my AC unit for a brand new , but it only worked for one month. Then I had to pay to open a new ticket because I didn’t report the issue within 30 days (don’t you expect proper running in a brand new system? My AC went out when our daily temperature was in the 90’s. Initially, I called another company right away and they booked me for visit first thing in the morning. Then, my wife informed me about our warranty through Landmark. So, I cancelled that appt and had Landmark assist me. To my surprise, their soonest availability was 3 days later. So, my wife and I waited patiently but very anxious to have our AC working again. Again, to our surprise, the vendor had to order a part that took another 5 days. The agent from Landmark Home Warranty that took my call was courteous and very helpful. He gave me the service company's name & contact information and also emailed me the information. He also followed up to make sure that I had an appointment with that company. The technician arrived for the scheduled appointment and checked all the components of my A/C system, making sure that everything was working in proper order. I am very satisfied with Landmark Home Warranty and would recommend this company to my friends and everyone.
