Landmark Home Warranty plans provide good value for money offering better protection compared to same value competitor plans. However, Landmark Home Warranty is only available for residential properties in Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, Texas and Utah. But if you find yourself living in these States, Landmark Home Warranty is a must recommend.

I have a mother/daughter home and have two full kitchens, two washers, two dryers etc. I pay $69.58/month that covers two of everything (except furnace (1 each) and A/C (1 each)). For each claim I pay only $60 directly to the company doing the repairing. That's it. No matter how many visits the vendor has to make to correct the problem, I only pay the $60 once. I recently had a problem with a refrigerator and after two visits to replace parts, they could not fix it and it was deemed unrepairable. Landmark sent me a check to buy a new refrigerator. You can't beat that. I would recommend Landmark to anyone who owns a home. It's a great deal.

Corrected review ( I Meant to put 5 stars) I have had a great experience with landmark home warranty. We have purchased our home in April, and we chose to go with Landmark. We live out in the country and the things they had to offer were exactly what we have needed. We have used landmark for pest control, refrigerator repairs, and garbage disposal replacement. Seems to be because of how far out we live (middle of nowhere) they have a little bit of a difficult time finding contractors who are willing to come and service us. But they find someone quickly and they have been the nicest, going above and beyond, contractors I have ever experienced. We had a little hiccup one day with a contractor (just some miscommunication between contractor and Landmark) and Landmark was on it to make sure everything was corrected and that we were taking care of ! I have been very thankful for our home warranty and the experience we have had with landmark will make me want to continue my service with them for several more years to come! and I do recommend them to everyone I know that is looking for home warranty! DO NOT BUY A LANDMARK HOME WARRANTY. Although all home warranty companies get a bad rep for not covering different items, Landmark is WORSE. Several months into home ownership, our hot water heater started leaking, I called and Landmark told me that I was covered (hot water heater leaking is basically the CLASSIC thing that SHOULD be covered under a warranty). Of course it took several days to get a technician out, so we waited WITH NO HOT WATER, because they told us it was covered. The technician came out, diagnosed our hot water heater with a leak and said it needed to be replaced (DUH). Of course, it was again going to take several days to get it replaced (again, we have no hot water). Landmark again assures me I am covered, and I approve a few minor expenses. A full day later, someone from Landmark calls asking to see the home inspection---I have now spoken to 10 different agents and had my claim approved twice, with no one asking for this report. Well, long story short, even though we lived in the house for several months with no problems, Landmark revokes its prior acceptance of our claim because the inspection report said that the hot water heater was OLD (of course it was, but it obviously wasn't leaking and was functioning when we bought the house, given that we lived there for several months before having the issue). This is after being assured I was covered, waiting a week for their horrible contractors to have available appointments, and spending hours upon hours on the phone with them. Long story short, not only will Landmark deny your claims for no good reason, they will also WASTE HOURS OF YOUR TIME AND MAKE YOU WAIT NEEDLESSLY FOR REPAIRS THEY WILL WIND UP NOT APPROVING. Steer clear. If they had asked for my inspection report right when I called, they could have saved us a week without hot water and many, many hours. This makes them worse than all of the other (admittedly not great) home warranty companies. Not only will they lie about what they cover, they will waste hours upon hours of your time before denying coverage.
