Medical Guardian offers five easy to use and install devices with that can be equipped with optional fall detection and your choice of landline, cellular, or mobile/GPS connectivity.

They have five different medical alert packages available, each equipped with the clients' choice of pendant, wristband, or clip-on water-resistant alert buttons.

Their most affordable system, the Classic Guardian, boasts an impressive 1,300-foot button-to-base station range in every direction and a 32-hour backup battery life. Other devices offer even longer battery life—up to seven days.

Medical Guardian recently introduced the Guardian Mini. The unit is quite petite, weighing in at just over an ounce and measuring 1.38 inches across. You can wear it on a lanyard or clip it anywhere on your person with the clip that's included.

Medical Guardian offers a mobile app that can be set up to issue a variety of alerts to family members. For family members and caregivers who prefer not to install the app, alerts can be delivered via text message or email.

The company’s latest product is the MGMove smartwatch, powered by AT&T 4G LTE. The touch-screen device has a multitude of features that combine the conveniences of a smartwatch with the functionality of a help button. It can report emergencies to the monitoring center using the SOS app, track their steps to keep up with their daily goals, check the weather at any time, and set reminders. The watch can also be used as a messaging device between the user and their Care Circle members.

Its newest product, the MGMove smartwatch, has a purchase price of $199.95 and a service plan that costs $44.95. It offers enhanced features such as reminders and messaging. The sales associate was courteous without being too pushy. Very knowledgeable. Product received promptly. This would be 5 stars but it was frustrating not being able to locate help on a Sunday to activate device.

I was fairly disappointed in my experience with Medical Guardian. The rep I dealt with, Joe Fanelli, was very encouraging and helpful on the phone, but poor on the follow through once he bagged the sale. I was promised free shipping, a free lockbox and a particular rate (that ended up being confusing and higher than I had thought). When my confirmation email arrived, I saw that $10 shipping had been charged and it took a lengthy call and eventually a supervisor to fix that. At the same time, the price was higher than quoted -- the supervisor promised to amend that -- and we will see if that has been done once the credit card statement arrives. From initial contact to activating my system I was totally satisfied with my treatment by each of the Medical Guardian representatives. I received my equipment on time and in excellent condition. The setup process was easy and the operators that I spoke to during the testing phase were courteous and efficient. I am sure I made the correct decision in placing my life safety in Medical Guardian's "hands".

Update: We were able to initiate the device, so far OK service, pleasant and patient response So far, a disappointment. My trip into NYC to help my elderly aunt has been a waste of time and effort- the unit will not charge up.

The decision to choose Medical Guardian for my elderly father was easy. My representative Tim was patient and compassionate through the process. He followed up with me to ensure all my questions were answered and never pressured me to purchase or upsell a plan that didn't fit our needs. I am confident that my dad will receive the same level of service if a medical alert situations occurs. Thanks for being there Medical Guardian when I can't be.

I am basically happy with Medical Guardian. However I do think that customers should be offered both the neck pendent & the watch . I would like the ability to switch back & forth. Thx

My mom had a slight stroke but her fall risk has increased dramatically. Searching the internet for reviews on medical alert systems this came up as top rated. When I called I was very please with the service I received from Tracy and how detailed her information was. Tells me that she knows the product. I felt like the cost was reasonable and hope that IF mom ever needs to use it, the service will be just as promised.
