My mother, Dorothy, fell in her home somewhere after 3 pm CST. She claims she pushed the security safety button but when there was no response crawled to the phone and called 911. EMT unit came and her neighbor, John Castalik, called me at 3:45 pm to say he thought she was injured and needed to go the emergency room. I told him I would meet them at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, MO. I arrived at the hospital about 4:13 and went to the Emergency Admitting desk. I was told she had just arrived and was being checked it. Dad has used his pendant 5 or 6 times in a short amount of time. Each and every time they notified the appropriate people in a timely manner. Customer service is outstanding!
We love the Bay Medical Alert necklace we bought for our mother. She has fallen a couple of times and was seriously injured the last time. Having the security to let her stay alone is priceless. Even though we have not had to use it in an emergency situation yet, we have tested it at all distances around her home and yard and the reception was great.
We have been using Bay Alarm for my in laws for about 2 years now and this gives up such peace of mind. Mom has a button necklace that she ties on her walker so it is always with her and she can push it anytime she wants and Bay Alarm will call me! The other night we had a big storm here and the power happened to go out and Bay Alarm called to let me know the system needed to be charged after running on a battery for 9 hours. So I went over to the house and did a security check and everything was perfect. Nothing else can give you this kind of peace of mind.

I purchased this plan for my elderly Mother, hoping to never have to use it but two weeks ago I was at work and Bay Alarm called me to let me know that my mother had a medical emergency. I was quite impressed with the gentleman on the phone as to his calmness and clear information that he was conveying to me. The medical response was fast and efficient. Things turned out ok for my mom. I am more at ease now knowing that if my Mother ever has another issue she will be taken care of .
When I helped my Mom get signed up for Bay Alarm, the staff was super nice and very helpful. They explained everything. We got our shipment in just a few days. It was super easy to hookup, and worked great. Just a few days later, my Mom's power went out. The operator called to make sure everything was okay. Thankfully it was, and my Mom hasn't had to call for help yet, but if she ever does, we both feel confident it will work wonderfully and help will be on the way fast. Thank you Bay Alarm Medical!
Hard to set up. However, customer service were excellent!
Bay Alarm Medical devices have greatly increased my wife's confidence level about being on her own after experiencing a stroke and reduced my worries about her when I'm away from home. The combination of the in-home device and the GPS capable device for when she is away from home gives her the reassurance that she could get assistance should anything were to happen in the future.
Fortunately I have not needed to use it, but it's reassuring to know it's there if I do.
