Super is a subscription-based home repair and maintenance service. The company offers three plans starting at $64 per month. All plans include both appliances and systems. Customers have the option of customizing any plan to cover a wide range of home features, including pools and spas, well pumps, and duplicate appliances.

Super is one of the more expensive services out there and its plan pricing and coverage limit structure is among the most complicated we've seen. For example, the price of any plan you choose will increase if you have a larger home because rates are established according to the area of your home. Even a careful reading of the company's sample contract leaves many questions unanswered. But the company doesn't limit the number of claims that you can make and some system coverage may be unlimited, depending on the plan you choose.

In addition, by adding the It's Covered option to your plan, some appliance and system parts that other home warranty companies exclude are included.

Super offers three home warranty packages: the Security, Signature and Lux plans. The more you are willing to pay for a plan, the more appliances and systems are covered.

Super helps and encourages customers to perform routine maintenance on their homes. Once you are an established customer, Super will send you updates when normal maintenance tasks should be performed throughout your home. Subscribers have the option of engaging one of Super's contractors to perform the work, with deductibles ranging from $75 to $149.

Super also protects against unknown pre-existing conditions, which are often excluded from most home warranty contracts.

The minimum annual premium with Super is $449 annually. That price applies to homes under 1200 square feet in area and located in Arizona. Premiums for larger homes are higher, as they are for homes located in more expensive parts of the country.

Other contract features are on par with competitive home warranties. You are not required to sign up for a full year of coverage, but if you sign an annual contract, you'll receive a discount off the monthly price. Super coverage for existing homes that are not on the market begins 15 days after you make your first payment. That's a somewhat shorter waiting period than some competitive plans offer. Super has a pretty standard cancellation clause. You can cancel within 30 days and receive a full refund, minus the cost of any repairs the company performed during the covered period. However, the company also charges a $50 cancellation fee.

Cancellation Policy

Agreement can be cancelled by you within thirty (30) days of the Plan Effective Date, and a full refund will be made. You may cancel this Agreement more than thirty (30) days after the Agreement effective date, and you shall be entitled to refund of the pro-rata Agreement charge less claims paid, any unpaid service fees, and a $50 administrative fee. Cancellation of this plan must be in writing.

Super makes it easy to submit claims by offering online, mobile, email, and telephone contact methods. Customers can submit an unlimited number of claims during a covered period, however the company places a cap on the dollar value of claims you can submit in a year. Coverage limits increase as you step up to Super's more expensive plans. Under no circumstances will the company be responsible for more than $30,000 in repairs, no matter which plan or upgrades you choose.

Terrible service! They don't come, they don't let you know, they don't update their website. In my opinion it a total scam. Luckily I did not pay for it!

I am with super from last two years. i am disappointing, They file the claim and charge money on credit card but could not fix the problem and when we complain they say if our tech come to your house either he do something or not, we will charge for doing nothing. They also drop the call in middle of complaint.

We just bought a home in the Dallas, Texas area and the home warranty we purchased was through Super. We had heard good things about them and they were not the least expensive option by far. Our first claim was for a washing machine. We called to see if it would be covered, assuming it wouldn't be because it did not come with the house. We were told it would be covered and a service repair tech was assigned to come out. The repair tech never came, but called and said he knew what the problem was and thought the machine needed to be replaced. For TWO WEEKS we called to get resolution. Terrible service, terrible technicians who can't do repairs and who Super will standby no matter how many times they never show up for appointments, lie to the customer or show inability to do the work. He's the full account of what happened. On 8/31/2019, I contacted Super to request service on my fridge as it stopped cooling, service was scheduled on Tuesday 9/3/2019 and a technician came out,after spending 2 minutes the technician said that the board needed to be replaced and that they will contact me as soon as they had the part. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They refuse to cover vendors that aren't one of they're providers, even when they aren't available to take your call in such an emergent situation, and you have an active flood going in your home so you have to get it stopped. They weren't willing to meet in the middle, or pay what they would have paid if it was their service provider. They are a sham, don't care about your home, and are looking for any reason to not cover. We canceled our policy after that needless to say.

TERRIBLE COMPANY AND WORST EVER. THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD. LAST YEAR WAS MUCH DIFFERENT. THEY CLAIM NOT TO COVER SOMETHING THAT WAS IN FACT COVERED LAST YEAR. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!! CHARLIE ACTS LIKE A DARN CAR SALESMAN. THEY TREAT YOU AS THOUGH YOU ARE STUPID. TIME TO REPORT TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND LOCAL CUSTOMER ADVOCATE NEWS STATIONS. SO FRUSTRATED... There are so many home warranties you can use but don’t use this one. I had a claimed and they took 10 days to get back to me. It was the dryer, the door didn’t lock and it was making a sound. The technician said it had to do with the exhaust and Super wasn’t going to pay. I called and told them why wasn’t the door fixed that I understand about the sound but they said it was the same problem, which it was a lie, the “professional “ left the dryer unhooked from the exhaust and left the pieces of the dryer out. I have to get a real technician to come fix it, someone I have to pay even though I’m paying for Super. What a rip-off!! Be careful they are stealing money.

Hello Super Home Warranty. Worse company ever, don't waste your time, or your money with this company. Your house will burn out, and you will have to do it on your own, before they do something. They just want to steal your money. Do it yourself, or go somewhere else. Honestly, with this reputation, I don't want to trust any other company, and I rather expend in repairs myself, than giving my money to someone who will just steal, and not care.

Super is cutting back. No longer paying for top notch contractors. Wanted to pay the plumber $80 per hour instead of current rate of $130. They will be losing the good contractors and will be just like the rest of the home warranty companies. Putting on a bandaid... plumber was waiting on hold with Super for 30 minutes to get approval to make the repair. It wasn’t like that six months ago when I had another plumbing issue. Their quality of service is declining.
