Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

My washer broke down. I called Select Home Warranty for a repair. The repair person came and said the cost for parts and labor came to $1300.00. Select Home Warranty will only reimburse me $125.00. Which is ridiculous. I'm not understanding why their rating is high. They are terrible. The sales rep were pretty persuasive to get your money but don't file a claim, that's were they get you!!!!!

The worst home warranty company is select home warranty. I put in a claim for my ac unit on June 12th. They finally got a technician out June 15th. They didn't give me a status in the 24 to 48 hr time frame like they said they would. I called them and they said they needed more information from the technician and would call him while I was on the phone. The technician told them that my unit needs a new compressor but it would be more cost efficient to replace the unit. Another 2 days later, no status yet. Horrible experience as live in hell! AVOID AVOID and AVOID.. I purchased two 3-year warranty for two different properties about 2 years ago. Recently I had my first claim experience with them. I filed claim online on a Thursday and I hear nothing back. Not even an email confirmation. Friday I called, they tell me I need to wait till next Monday because my claim is still under review. Monday, I called, this time, they said will connect with GE technician (my GE cloth dryer had an issue). So as they connect with GE, I am on phone listening to music for 45min total and they tell me, sorry our system is down, I can't schedule you. please call us back later. I Purchased sprinkle system warranty . My claim was rejected, they said that the policy does not cover leak in the valve of the sprinkle system. i had to pay 60$ to get the rejecting service

Your company is the worst Home Warranty company I have ever dealt with first of all you were called out about plumbing and half of my plumbing problems were not covered but I wasn’t told that it wasn’t covered until the plumber came out second my icemaker is not covered under your warranty that is a separate cost third the air conditioner is not covered under the warranty that is a separate charge also come to find out you require AC units to be serviced twice a Year and you do not tell your customers that when they purchase the $150 add-on for the AC you guys scam a lot of people and I will let everybody know not to purchase select Home Warranty

Horrible service / Technicians.. couldn't service the dryer for more than 7 weeks now.. called multiple times the customer service - though they are courteous but not able to resolve the issue. Everyone is reading / telling the same text (probably recorded one I guess).

My experience with Moe was both insightful and educational. I switched from American Home Shield because their customer service and response to claims were gut-wrenching. Never did I expect a company of such caliber would treat clients in such a manner so did my own due diligence and Select Home Warranty was a no-brainer!!!
