For the sake of education and peace-of-mind, this company provides a sample contract and quote calculator on their website. In exchange for a $75 administration fee, they also offer a pro-rated refund if the initial 30 days have expired.

Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

David Walker made it very easy to sign up and promptly answered all of my questions via email until I was ready to make the call to sign up. I called David once I was ready and he had me signed up within minutes. I am a Real Estate Transaction Coordinator and I order home warranties for my clients almost daily. I had a great experience with the rep that called me. I was not going to review my warranty but he was able to get my water softener to be included. But again, that is the reason why I went with them in the first place so not sure why it wasn't included all last year?? Luckily I didn't have a problem with it! Anyway, this will add another month onto the already 2 months free he is giving me for renewing. Please confirm this is the case, I get 15 months with this review?

Complete con steer clear. Was told ac was covered but the actual coverage only pays max $500 repair costs $2300. So much fine print and loopholes so they don’t have to pay.
