Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

BEWARE OF SELECT HOME WARRANTY!! Terrible company. Awful experience. Long wait times. Took a week to review/process my claim for A/C motor going out, and then only covered a fraction of the cost. Had to jump through many hoops while roasting inside my house with no A/C in the middle of the summer. I wouldn't even consider them a home warranty company. Avoid the headache and go with another company...trust me!!

I want to share I very terrible expense. Two months ago one of my friends recommends I should my homewarry. I went to Google search found this company has very good feedback. I called the company would like to buy a home warry for my house appliance. I talked to some agents. They said I only pay for the first visit of a $60 deductible. The rest of the company will take care. If the appliance is broken, we will take care of it and replacement to a new one or fix it. You don't need to pay any penny out of the pocket. This company is a sham. They do not cover what they advertise. I paid the $75 deposit to have a plumber assess and repair the garbage disposal. When he said that it needed to be replaced, Select Home Warranty decided that they wouldn't cover the cost of replacement and repairs and would offer me a settlement of $75. I've never had a home warranty company decide they were not going to pay for a repair they advertise as handling. Their customer service is trash and they lie. I was told there was no cancellation fee and they charged me one to cancel my service. Absolutely horrible. they do not cover practically anything, and if you have one word wrong in the diagnosis they won't cover it. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WARRANTY. THEY ARE COMPLETE TRASH OF A SERVICE! THEY SHOULD BE LABELED AS A SCAM.

Do not purchase a warranty from this company ! They claim to replace an item that is not repairable. On my first service call for a washing machine that stopped working, I paid 75.00 to have technician say it was not repairable. The offer for replacement they gave me is 100.00 ! Where in the world can a washing machine be purchased for 100.00 ? If you subtract the cost for the service call, my net replacement is $25.00 ! What a joke ! And this is their premium plan ! 1 star because you can’t rate 0.

Very disappointed, over two months and not repair my refrigerator, after many calls trying to reach any person to represente the company Lila a managers never received a call back, very irresponsable employees, irresponsable company, my payments on time not make changes, NOT recommended this business at all, one start is much for this CERO still some for Select home warranty ☹️

I would NEVER use this company again. The sales person is wonderful but as soon as you need a repair expect a lot of run around. They schedule you with some no-name repair person who never shows up, then they have you go through that process again with a different repair person who never shows up. If you contact them expect to be put on hold, or appeased with a "this never happens" in the 12 months I had this warranty, I had EIGHT repair appointments only ONE of which where a technician showed up. Select accepts no responsibility for this and will take your money and run.

Sales team is very good with Select Home Warranty. We have used another home warranty company for several years with their prices going up so we are branching out to try Select Home Warranty and see how their services compare. Home warranty companies says that they cover everything in your home, but in reality they cover certain components of everything in your home. So ask lots of questions about what is and what is not covered.

The sales service is very good with Select Home. I would not sign up for more than one year with ANY Home Warranty company. They all have fine print to provide ways to deny or reduce coverage. Study the contract immediately to see what is or is NOT covered. Ask for a refund if the contract does not provide what you really want. When you submit a claim, do not try to diagnose the issue. The repair person needs to do that. Only provide general information about the problem (otherwise that can try to say it is not covered without even sending anyone to review it). Trying to file a claim and they are not helpful at all. Everything is done online or over the phone (which normally is fine). However, they refused to even send someone to look at my hot water heater. Just simply determined over the internet and phone that is was my problem not theirs. Then when trying to call and speak to come one who knows what is going on is impossible.
