For the sake of education and peace-of-mind, this company provides a sample contract and quote calculator on their website. In exchange for a $75 administration fee, they also offer a pro-rated refund if the initial 30 days have expired.

Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Beneath my fridge was a leak coming from moisture. Select visited my home and told me the parts value would be to great and not worth replacing so they helped me purchase a new unit. They covered almost everything except the claim fee.

The network of repair providers was my biggest reason to order from them. They stood on top of the providers head and made sure that my repair was complete in time and properly with all quality parts.

Thanks to my warranty claim being so quick I did not have to much of a terrible situation with not having a washing machine. For me I had a squeek coming from my machine and a bad belt that was switched out.

On top of the oven is the microwave and for no reason at all the micro stopped working. The service tech figured out the power from the oven to the micro was causing a shortage, potentially dangerous and it was fixed on the spot, smart service repair!

It is the end of the summer and the pool filter system burned out. I had a 10 day return time to get the pool filtration system smoothly operational again. Wonderful turn around time on my service call.

As many others have said, Stay Away. Any good reviews are planted. They make promises they can’t or won’t keep. Horrible customer service. In the process of canceling contract but they make it difficult with cancellation and hidden fees. Contacting popular consumer advocate. R. Jeff Gigler Yulee, Fl.

Do not use this company! They Have terrible customer service and will do anything and everything to avoid fixing a broken appliance. Took months for them to only deny the claim. Representatives are just as bad. Canceled my contract within two months.

Lots of the time I have virtually no hold time to get someone from customer service on the phone. The most important part though is the claim and they have pushed through numerous claim requests ranging from 1 to 3 weeks to get approval and work done. Overall I am pretty pleased with my decision to go with them.

Through out my claim I was kept in contact with and given updates for each part of the claim. Wether it was for parts ordered or scheduled time. Everything is done in a clear and professional way.

This warranty company is a joke. The follow through once a claim has been submitted has been a nightmare. From the contractor arriving to my home in an unmarked black mini van to the non-existent communication about the claim. I reached out to the company after not hearing or receiving notification more than a week later from the contractors initial visit. Thereafter to being requested to take pictures of my appliance (via email) and submit to later receive another email about a cash out value. RUN this company is horrible
