Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Previously my first claim was good with problems with delays and a slow turn around time to do the repair. This second claim has been exceptional they made up for the first claim and I bump my rating up for them.

Trying to deal with this company was incredibly frustrating. My a/c compressor failed and SHW dispatched a technician to diagnose the issue. I accompanied the technician during his review of the situation. He agreed that the compressor had failed and wrote up his report leaving me a carbon copy and sending the other to SHW. SHW emailed and said that this would not be covered as it was a freon leak. No where on the technician's report did it state this however SHW said their copy did state this. The carbon copy I received at the time of the technician's diagnosis did not state anything about freon. I spent approximately one month arguing with SHW during the middle of the summer when... 4 years is how long I own my gold plan with SHW they offer a great great service at a price that is not heavy on my wallet. Beside that they have made my house issues non existent and will continue to be a registered member of the service they offer me.

Didn't expect a replacement oven instead of a repair but it was gladly accepted! Pros is the fridge is brand new, cons is not as feature rich as my old one. Still I give credit where credit is due and am happy.

Worst home warranty filed a claim and was told they were looking for someone to diagnose the issue 4 days later I recieve an email to find my own they could not find anyone to look at my dishwasher. Wait any repair over 100 we must get approved. I am told the turnaround for approval would be 24 hours and 4 days later nothing. I am now told it is waiting for approval it will be another 24 to 48 hours.

It was not necessary to replace the entire door on my fridge but they felt it would be more cost effective long term than to just fix the suction around it. They did not take the cheap route and that is pleasantly a surprise.

The worst ever! I called Select Home Warranty about my dishwasher. My dishwasher cost 600.00. SHW sent out a company called TMT for the repair. The technician diagnosed the problem bad pump, heater and wand. Then for some reason TMT fired him. We called TMT asking why it was taking two weeks to get back to us. They said that they fired the technician. Then we waited another week. I called TMT back and she said they had the parts and were ready to come and finish the job. Well a young boy showed up without all the parts. My wife had to find and play a youtube video so the guy could replace the wand in the dishwasher. He tried to get us to sign off on the job saying the repair was... Read More

Nice finishing job around the shower leak. Everything was sealed properly and managed quickly and thoroughly they even left me the left over sealent in case I need to do any touch up myself.
