Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

This warranty company is a joke. The follow through once a claim has been submitted has been a nightmare. From the contractor arriving to my home in an unmarked black mini van to the non-existent communication about the claim. I reached out to the company after not hearing or receiving notification more than a week later from the contractors initial visit. Thereafter to being requested to take pictures of my appliance (via email) and submit to later receive another email about a cash out value. RUN this company is horrible

This company was terrible! They denied my claim before the technician ever came out to my house! We paid for the whole year. Now we want to cancel and they are making it very difficult! This was our first claim. We ended up paying out of pocket $2000!

Personally I tried 4 companies for my house and all of them let me go after I made 2 claims. Select so far has been great with my first claim and I hope they continue to deliver good services.

Policy doesn’t cover much I had to pay out of pocket plus 2 deductibles. SHW not reimbursing me. Worst customer service and coverage ever. 9/2019. Look elsewhere

Rather than one star, SHW earns a minus rating. They were paid so we would have protection for our appliances. From past experience with other companies, it's quite simple. You acknowledge the claim, confirm it, then have the action of repair or replacement completed. This pathetic excuse for customer service has dragged out this issue for over a week even after the tech reported back what repairs were needed and that there were health issues involved with senior citizens having to endure without AC. Absolutely disgraceful

Documentation required for using my own licensed plumbers, contractors was long and cumbersome, hoping I hear soon on what came out of my pocket 3 months ago. Had another claim from June on a property I manage, and was not timely as well, Now in September and still trying to get someone out to look at roof leak. A person came from the company, tenant said he left and we never heard back 2 months ago. Wish they would have someone from the repair company call me as the text to website didnt get responses. So hoping this gets resolved soon and I get paid soon.

The sales process is very intense and will make u think twice about purchasing -then after purchasing -kept getting calls to buy and offers of better deals even though i purchased - Now that I needed service on dryer I was glad at least an answer and now a contact on. E-mail from dispatch -so far so good for phone call

I switched because other home warranty company charges the service fee first before they send the contractor. The other companies dont stand behind they contractors in didnt not fix the problem I paid them for. Select home warranty is the best one yet in this home warranty offers the best rate compared to others. I switched because other home warranty company is garbage
