For the sake of education and peace-of-mind, this company provides a sample contract and quote calculator on their website. In exchange for a $75 administration fee, they also offer a pro-rated refund if the initial 30 days have expired.

Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

this Claim I have has been a nightmare. I have been dealing with the claim since Jan 2019. I 'm very frustrated because they have the info from the repair guy that never came back. All i want is for my washer to be repaired. I've sent pictures of my machine. They make me feel like i 'm lying about this issue.

I went to my basement to check on my water heater and next thing I know the ignitor refused to turn on. I called up select and they promised me a call back from a local repair shop. I got a call in 4 hours and it was quickly handled in two days from my call- very smooth and easy process.

As luck would have it my washing machine belt broke after one year. The part was ordered and installed for $45(claim fee) in a 14 day time period. The installation done properly.

IF I CAN GIVE THIS COMPANY A LOWER RATING I WOULD. I HAVE A 3 YEAR 9 MONTHS CONTRACT WITH THEM AND IN THREE YEARS THEY HAVE NEVER FIXED ANYTHING. ALWAYS DENIED BY SOME LOOP HOLE IN THEIR CONTRACT. THREE YEARS OF DENIAL ON EVERYTHING. EVEN THINGS THAT THEY SAY ARE COVERED DENIED BECAUSE THEY WANT MAINTENANCE RECORDS FOR THREE YEARS AND YOU JUST BOUGHT THE CONTRACT. RIDICULOUS. THEY DON'T TELL YOU THAT IN THE BEGINNING. I PAID EXTRA FOR ROOF COVERAGE AND HAD A LEAK WHICH WAS DENIED.

Select warranty, thanks for correcting the water heater levels. I now get proper water temperture around the house. The two bathrooms and the kitchen sink all are back to working perfectly.
