Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Was very frustrated that I had not received service on my ceiling fan claim. The support guy was very kind and patient with me and listened to my complaint. He said he would mark the claim URGENT and I should be hearing from them soon.

Select Home Warranty (SHW) has been immediately receptive to and helpful with a claim that was made. They actually have gone above and beyond what we expected with repairs on the home we moved into. The protocal that is followed to file a claim is flawless and the follow-through unrivaled. I cannot recommend highly enough SHW. It also gives piece of mind know that when something does break or have problems, a reliable and vetted repair company is hired by SHW to fix the problem! Bravo to all at SHW. More bang for the buck is how I would classify SHW. Because $399 is very reasonable for a yearly program that offers me so much in terms of level of service and amount of services that are offered.

When buying a home and doing an inspection, all testing came back as working. Purchased warranty. But they required 30 days after effective date. By no fault on us, their policy leaves us responsible. Regretting the warranty purchase at this point.
