Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

Fastest service I've ever received. Besides being prompt, the technician was both professional and knowledgeable.
It took a month before you got a technician to my house because of ac problems. He diagnose the problem and said it was my compressor needed replacement. He call and sent you pics and before he could leave my house you denied my coverage. I followed your denial procedure and spoke with acase manager who automatically denied it again. Told me no other recourse. I ask to speak with his supervisor and he said that there was no one higher than him. I told him everyone has a boss. I will do everything I can to exploit the scam you have. My rating for you is-10. I'll contact the BBB next.
We have been a Choice Home Warranty customer for over 15 years and highly recommend them! Our latest issue was with our garbage disposal.
It "froze" up. I filed my claim on-line and the next day we were contacted by a local plumber. They were able to come out the same day and took care of our garbage disposal within about 20 minutes. He even showed us what to do if it ever happened again. We were very happy, as we have been over the past several years.

Only offering $450 replacement on 21 cu ft freezer that costs $850 at Lowes on sale from $999. I'm refusing and appealing.
I had submitted a claim to repair my dishwasher. The repairman said that the work cannot be completed to fix the dishwasher because the model and serial number tag was missing and I was told that voids the warranty. It appears the tag has just peeled off over time; however, I still had to pay the $85 service fee for the gentlemen to do nothing except tell me he can't do anything because a tag is missing. I had the model and serial number information as it was provided to me in a ledger provided by the HOA in my condo complex. I don't think this should void the warranty, I believe the repair should have been made, and if not, I certainly should not have had to pay a service fee for them... Read More

Brian was very courteous and knowledgeable. Within a few minutes, he was able to diagnose the problem and went to work to fix the issue. Within 30 minutes the air conditioning was up and running.
Came on time disposal in hand. He had to return to his shop for a larger sazall as the disposal was rusted and very difficult to get out. Returned promptly put in new disposal and it works great. He is professional and very capable.
