Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

I was happy last night when I spoke to Melvin, the sales rep....although it took 15 minutes for him to give me the BEST price package.
HOWEVER, this morning I have received 2 phone calls from reps from your company. The first rep told me he was just verifying my info. He had at least my name, phone number, name and address! He then said I could get a home security system for no cost 'except' the $60 MONTHLY FEE! I told him that I couldn't afford that amount. He said " oh yes you can. You CAN'T afford NOT to get this!" I am satisfied with the service Choice Home Warranty provides. I like the professionalism.
D Hodges was very straight up about what was needed and was able to perform a temporary fix until the part could be obtained.
The technician was very eligible and professional
The technician was late, but offered a professional and respectful apology
The technician did a thorough inspection of the situation and with his professionalism went on and completed his task
Please note this technician completed his task, then asked for the payment. I was very pleased and satisfied with this technician because of his professionalism, his respect for my home and is diligent and rendering the service. This technician should be applauded by the company as I do thank you for sending him to remedy my problem.

My claim for a plumber was quickly scheduled and Butler Plumbing was quick to act and fix the problem. Complete satisfaction !
I am disappointed with Choice Home Warranty. Their technician was supposed to call within 24 hours but never contacted me at all. Evidently, the customer service reps I spoke with didn't understand the seriousness of my plumbing problem.
Choice Home Warranty responded fast. The technician came few days later and fixed the problem.
Chandler was an amazing electrician and wonderful to work with. Very personable and professional.
Our furnace stopped working, we went online and initiated a repair request and had a referral for a local Heating and cooling company in less than 5 minutes! The local company contacted me via text within 10 minutes and set an appt for 2 days later. They showed up on time, took about 15 minutes diagnosed the problem, fixed it right on the spot. Very excellent service! The best part is we had a quote from our own HVAC company and they had quoted us nearly $1,000 to fix the furnace, so we were more than pleased with the outcome. We only had to pay for the warranty service fee of $75.00.
I filed a claim with Choice Home Warranty "CHW" on 01/05/2026 for the repair of kitchen food disposal in a rental property. An assigned technician came to the single family property on 01/08/2026. He checked the disposal machine, cleaned it and made it work again. He did a very good job
