Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

He did not mention wether he changed ot water settings. Hot waer is really hor! He did a good job and left!
The tech came out and performed a good job n submitted the order to see if covered. But I did not sign any form to confirm or agree to having the work done. Let alone completion of work performed. So the signature on the wo is not my signature nor my electronic signature on file. So someone signed my name without my approval.
I'm very satisfied with Choice Home Warranty, due to the choice of service providers, the company they sent out fixed my washer the same day because they had the parts on their van, unlike AHS who would take weeks to repair anything because they always have to order parts....
Once my contract is expired I will be looking for another warranty company!
My A/C unit had been working for the last 6 years and when it froze up and I called Choice they denied my claim and I have to pay out of pocket.
It surprises me when something small and inexpensive gets denied. It's disappointing after years of maintaining a policy and always recommending my friends and family do so, as well.
Customer service agents did an excellent following up. Understood the importance and the need to get things done.
I would not recommend this company. They use pre existing conditions as an excuse not to pay. Any appliance or piece of equipment repair can be refused as preexisting condition. Any home that is not brand new will have preexisting condition if anything fails. My experience with them was not hood.
The gentleman was very polite, and even smiled. He showed up within time window although it was raining really bad!! He was very knowledgeable and understood what I was explaining and needed. He checked the system and was very thorough!!! Great service to have.
The technician was very knowledgeable and thorough. He was delayed by the approval process to secure the parts needed to complete the repairs. Once the approval was granted, he moved swiftly to complete the work with precision and skill.

You can submit a claim 24/7, including holidays, via phone, online, or app. The company utilizes proprietary technology to begin the dispatching process after a claim is filed. The company has recently updated their plans increasing coverage and has fewer limitations. Their plans and optional coverage can cover over 25 major systems and appliances.
Choice Home Warranty earns a B rating from the Better Business Bureau and has a positive rating on Trustpilot, but in this industry, negative customer reviews far outnumber positive ones.
