Choice Home Warranty offers existing homeowners two plans, each of which cover a mix of systems and appliances. The primary difference between its Total plan and its Basic plan is that refrigerators, washers and dryers, and air conditioning systems are not included in the Basic Plan. We requested a quote for a single family home of less than 5000 square feet in a small midwestern city. The premium for Choice Home Warranty's Basic was $47.85 per month and the premium for its Total pan was $54.95 per month. With the cost difference between the two plans being only about $7 per month, to our mind, the Total plan a better value overall because it includes coverage for three of the most common appliances: refrigerators, washers, and dryers. It also includes coverage for air conditioning systems.

The company's co-pay for a service call is $85, slightly less than most comparable companies. The co-pay may be reduced further with special discounts and promotions.

Cancellation Policy

The contract shall be non-cancelable by the company except for nonpayment of contract fees or service fees, fraud or misrepresentation of facts by the customer, or by agreement between client and company. Customers may cancel within the first 30 days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees. If canceled after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by the company.

General overall was good. It took sometime to get a technician to commit to the appointment. Edison Plumbing technicians were very tentative and got the job done quick. I’m satisfied

Happy with you up to the point of getting my Lowe’s coupon emailed to me. I was not thrilled with having to pay $900 out of my pocket for the range, but went to get my range and my coupon and was told it could take 30 days. In this day of electronics, making me wait weeks to get an oven is not reasonable or fair service.

Choice Home Warranty is very easy to work with and to operate. I downloaded their app. It’s so easy to fill in the information and people come out very quickly. I had my problem resolved in one day. The company actually called me to see if they come out the same day, but unfortunately, I was not able to do that. The tech that they hired texted me ahead of time to let me know when they were on their way and he sent a picture. Absolutely the best interaction I’ve had another wonderful interaction from businesses associated with Choice Home Warranty. 5 Star service!

I had a dryer break down and Robert from Flamingo came out to repair it. He had to come back twice because there were more damaged parts than anticipated. He was excellent to work with, great communication before he arrived and very pleasant while he was here.

Very good assessment of the problem but I haven’t heard anything back regarding said problem. Not sure if that is in Choice or the vendor but I am not satisfied at all at this point.

My dishwasher was displaying an error code, and stopped working. I reached out to Choice on the website, and requested service. I received a text from the service company they hired and within a few days (weekend) a repairperson was here. Apparently it needed too many parts and I was offered a few hundred dollars to replace it. I highly recommend this company.
