Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

I would not recommend Choice Warranty to any of my friends. They are not able to provide timely service. I filed a claim for plumbing and it wasn’t fixed until for 2 months. I also filed a claim for a/c not running and they expected me to wait 5 days in sweltering heat for repair.
QPS Plumbing was very prompt, Gene Swenson is an experienced plumber who evaluated the situation and fixed my problem quickly and expertly. I highly recommend this company to everyone.
The Top of Texas was prompt and got my job done quickly and correctly.
Service was excellent. Service provider was professional, knowledgeable and had great communication skills. Not a minute of time was wasted.
You take too long to refer the request to a provider of the service needed. that service acted as soon as they received the order. So should Choice Warranty. Not 2 days later.
Kept me informed of appt. & arrived accordingly.

Very happy to have a choice home warranty as my insurer. I was having trouble with my air-conditioning system, and they engaged to a local vendor to resolve the issue. The vendor was prompt and skilled. Thank you very much.
A little upset.. after 4 HOURS & several different phone calls of being disconnected ,
or told INCORRECT information,
or transfer back & forth to wrong departments,
PLUS everytime calling back ….
being automatically FORCED by recording answering systems to file a new claim with none related options of choices to choose from for broken items.. plus forced a new claim number….. WOW
just to reach a “LIVE customer service rep,” …………………………, finally reaching somebody that would & could actually help me!
From there its been okay!
Seriously Choice, we need to clean up your answering contacts./ systems !
Couldn't repair my dryer and I was only given $300 something dollars which won't even buy me half a dryer.
I would give this review a 0 out of 5 stars if I could. Choice Home Warranty is a FRAUD company. BAD CHOICE. I do not recommend to use this company. They do not care for their customer. They take your money and won't honor the contract. I paid $2800.00 in advance for 3 yrs. contract. After one year I canceled my policy beacuse they were not able to provide service for 4 claims. Two of the claims were plumbing stoppage , which they were not able to get a contractor assigned until 5 days later, which by that time I had already fix the problem through another contractor that I called-in.
