NOTICE: On February 12, 2020, the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office filed suit against Omega Vehicle Services, LLC d/b/a Delta Auto Protect and its owners for violation of consumer protection laws. The complaint alleges that in numerous instances Delta Auto Protect failed to authorize covered repairs, wrongfully denied covered claims, failed to respond to claims inquiries, failed to refund consumers for contract cancellations, and otherwise misrepresented their business practices. This case has not yet come to trial and the truth of these allegations has not been adjudicated.
Since 2013, Delta Auto Protect has provided affordable extended car warranties throughout the United States. Located in Philadelphia, this company offers 24/7/365 roadside service, transferable service agreements, and Automotive Service Excellence-certified technicians.

Delta Auto Protect's plans are some of the most affordable in the industry with industry-average restrictions and covered components. Warranties are backed by an A.M. Best "A" rated insurance company. The company offers specialty system coverage including high-tech electronic components and factory navigation systems.

Delta Auto Protect requires that diagnoses and repairs be conducted by ASE-certified mechanics.

It also has its own ASE-certified technicians on staff to facilitate communications between Delta and the repair facility, and to review diagnoses and estimates.

Delta Auto Protect reserves the right to supply the necessary covered replacement parts for a given vehicle, a reservation which has been the source of some customer complaints when the supplied parts did not function properly.

Delta Auto Protect has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau and a number of negative reviews and comments. The BBB also has an alert on Delta's page that states "It has come to BBB’s attention that the business is requesting that a customer(s) withdraw complaints filed through BBB as a condition of resolving the complaints. BBB does not withdraw complaints under these circumstances." The company's reputation on Trust Pilot is no better and earns it a "Poor" rating. Many customers complain that the company is very difficult to communicate with.

Company has not paid any claims since activation. The dealership has been waiting for payment for over 5 months now. Customer service representative (Aaron) told us that payment would be made months ago. Would not recommend this company.

I am happy with my Delta car warranty. I bought it when I got a used car this past summer. When my car had a tire blowout, I called them for help. They immediately sent a tow truck and would up getting a renter for a few days. My car had to get the rim fixed, so it took longer. When it was ready, I paid my deductible and returned my renter. Thanks!

It takes hours to get through to them. They never return calls. Have been waiting 2 months for them to pay for the repairs they approved. For 2 months I have been told every day that they would pay within 24 to 48 hours, they still have not paid. RIP OFF!

Delta Auto Protect warranty is a must have for everyone who owns a car. I couldn’t have made it home last weekend if not for these guys. My car broke down in the middle of nowhere, and there was no sign of help from anywhere. I called the company and after explaining to them where I was, they sent a towing van to me. I was really amazed by their fast response, this is something I haven’t experienced with any warranty company before. I love these guys because they’re good at this. Thank you.

THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL RIP OFF!!! I WAS TOLD BY A FORMER EMPLOYEE TO CANCEL MY POLICY BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT THIS COMPANY IS NOT A GOOD ONE AND THAT THEY FIND A WAY TO DENY CLAIMS, LEAVE CLAIMS UNPAID FOR SO LONG AND CUSTOMERS CARS ARE LEFT SITTING IN THE SHOP DUE TO THEM NOT PAYING THE AUTO SHOP IN A TIMELY MANNER. MY WATER PUMP WAS LEAKING AND THE BODY SHOP TOLD THEM THAT THEY HAD TO REMOVE THE SEALS AND GASKETS IN WHICH THEY SAID THEY DO NOT COVER...OK, THAT'S FINE, I'LL PAY FOR THE SEALS & GASKETS, HOWEVER THAT WAS NOT THE PROBLEM THAT WAS CAUSING THE LEAK "IT'S THE WATER PUMP" ALL THEY HEARD WAS SEALS AND GASKETS WHICH BOTH THE BODY SHOP AND I TOLD THEM IT'S NOT THE SEALS AND GASKETS... I recently had a experience with delta auto. My car broke down on the side of the road. I contacted delta and they wete able to send someone out right away. They had my car fixed the next day. Only thing I was responsible for was paying my deductible

My car heater stopped working and my car was so cold and I couldn't take it anymore. This morning I took my car to Delta Auto Protect and they had someone come check it out. They fixed my heater and I am a happy customer. All it cost me was my deductible. Thank you.

Last week I was driving to school, and my car overheated when I was five minutes away. I called customer service with Delta, and my car was towed. I was also given a rental car right away. This week I got my car back with a fixed cooling system. All I had to pay for was a low deductible!
