NOTICE: On February 12, 2020, the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office filed suit against Omega Vehicle Services, LLC d/b/a Delta Auto Protect and its owners for violation of consumer protection laws. The complaint alleges that in numerous instances Delta Auto Protect failed to authorize covered repairs, wrongfully denied covered claims, failed to respond to claims inquiries, failed to refund consumers for contract cancellations, and otherwise misrepresented their business practices. This case has not yet come to trial and the truth of these allegations has not been adjudicated.

Since 2013, Delta Auto Protect has provided affordable extended car warranties throughout the United States. Located in Philadelphia, this company offers 24/7/365 roadside service, transferable service agreements, and Automotive Service Excellence-certified technicians.

Overall Rating: 3 / 5 (Average)

Delta Auto Protect's plans are some of the most affordable in the industry with industry-average restrictions and covered components. Warranties are backed by an A.M. Best "A" rated insurance company. The company offers specialty system coverage including high-tech electronic components and factory navigation systems.

The company's online reputation, however, has much room for improvement. It is rated "poor" by Trustpilot and F by the BBB. Many of the complaints about them concern a lack of customer service, difficulty in contacting them, and refusals to resolve customer disputes unless negative comments and reviews were withdrawn. While complaints about customer service are common in this industry, Delta Auto Protect garners more than their share.

If you are looking for an affordable auto warranty plan, Delta Auto Protect might be the right choice for you, but if things don't go as they should, you may experience frustration in trying to resolve your issues with them.

So far its good. I purchased warranty four months ago for my mini van. The process was smooth and sales rep was also nice. I found the prices for premier plan a bit higher. But as long as they are providing 100% coverage I can pay the $ 120 deductible monthly because its worth it. I hope I get good services when I put the warranty at work anytime in future. So, until then keeping my fingers cross. I would definitely write a review about that too.

I purchased extended warranty for my car from Delta in 2017. The process of purchase was so transparent and clear. Sales rep was also polite and professional. They responded real quick when I was buying warranty BUT when I made my first claim they would not answer call or I was told a lunch break was going on. It took me an entire day to get the approval for the repair of my car's transmission.

My overall experience with Delta Auto is OK so far. The buying process is easy and transparent and sales persons are professional and helpful. However, it took them 2-3 hours to send the payment to repair facility. I had to call them 2 3 times to follow up the payment and sent them document thrice through fax and email so that they take necessary action immediately

It just works. This service got my car back on the road after a complete gearbox failure. The rep on the line understood I have zero knowledge when it comes to cars, and guided me on what needs to be done. I would have been completely lost without them. Thank you!

I have been a paying customer of this company for some time now, and have had to use them on two occasions. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes you have to wait for a bit on the claims line, around 10 minutes. But the experience is ok after that. People picking up the phones seem to be very willing to help, and ask all the right questions to make sure they understand the situation.

Worst auto warranty company ever. My Mercedes went in for repair at the dealership. It took over a month to get an approval to do the repairs. We are now two months later and they have still not paid for the repairs. I had to pay the dealer myself, ($4930) to get the car released. They still haven't paid. THEY WON'T ANSWER THEIR PHONE! DO NOT buy a warranty from this company, if you do, you will regret it.

It's a scam. I am trying to get paid a claim since October of '18. $500 is still outstanding. I had to pay, as the dealer put a lien on my car. I call every week, sometimes multiple times a week, and they always come up with excuses as to why this does not get paid. This has been months now, and it's for a repair they authorized. Outrageous. On a smaller claim, a similar thing happened - they took months to send a $180 check to the dealer and I cannot longer use either dealer with the warranty.

My ESP is 816-295-78. I cancelled my policy on 12/18/2018 and was told will get my refund within 30 business days. Called them back and talked to Robert on 2/26/19 who verified my address and was told I would get my refund on 3/8/19. Today again called 3/12/2019 and Maria told that it was sent to the wrong address. Due to the bad reviews i had the gut feeling that they play these tricks and thats why I checked my address with Robert on 2/26/2019. Now i am being told that i will get by the end of march as as of now 4/15/2019 i am yet to receive the refund. I will lower my rating if I dont receive and take up the matter legally.

Out of all the companies offering extended warranty services in Toronto, OH Delta is the best by far. Love the people on the phone every time I call, and the replacement rental service is a lifesaver if you have to commute to work everyday and your car is in the shop.
