NOTICE: On February 12, 2020, the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office filed suit against Omega Vehicle Services, LLC d/b/a Delta Auto Protect and its owners for violation of consumer protection laws. The complaint alleges that in numerous instances Delta Auto Protect failed to authorize covered repairs, wrongfully denied covered claims, failed to respond to claims inquiries, failed to refund consumers for contract cancellations, and otherwise misrepresented their business practices. This case has not yet come to trial and the truth of these allegations has not been adjudicated.

Since 2013, Delta Auto Protect has provided affordable extended car warranties throughout the United States. Located in Philadelphia, this company offers 24/7/365 roadside service, transferable service agreements, and Automotive Service Excellence-certified technicians.

Overall Rating: 3 / 5 (Average)

Delta Auto Protect's plans are some of the most affordable in the industry with industry-average restrictions and covered components. Warranties are backed by an A.M. Best "A" rated insurance company. The company offers specialty system coverage including high-tech electronic components and factory navigation systems.

The company's online reputation, however, has much room for improvement. It is rated "poor" by Trustpilot and F by the BBB. Many of the complaints about them concern a lack of customer service, difficulty in contacting them, and refusals to resolve customer disputes unless negative comments and reviews were withdrawn. While complaints about customer service are common in this industry, Delta Auto Protect garners more than their share.

If you are looking for an affordable auto warranty plan, Delta Auto Protect might be the right choice for you, but if things don't go as they should, you may experience frustration in trying to resolve your issues with them.

I made a mistake of following the recommendation of websites stating how good Auto Delta Protect is. When my SUV needs both sides front lower control arm, they only honored the cheapest part for it and would only pay $200 for everything. Base on my experience, these cheap parts do not last so I opted to get the Genuine parts and I will pay for the remaining bill which costs me almost $700. After the shop's multiple call to collect the $200 that they said they will pay, still nothing happened. They kept promising "We will pay you by the end of the day." I can't believe just for $200, they will show that they are not trustworthy company. Auto Delta Protect is a scammer. I will file a... Read More

Delta Auto Protect is one of the less expensive auto protection warranty out there. When my car broke down on my road trip to California, I called Phil and he immediately arranged for my car to be towed for repairs. My warranty with the Delta Auto Protect company covers all my car repairs and the deductible is very low. I love the services I get from these guys and I will be sticking with them for a long time. Thank you.

The transmission fluid in my 07 Camry started leaking transmission fluid one morning when I got to work. I called Delta Auto Protect during my lunch break. About 2 hours after I called, Delta sent a tow truck to pick up my Camry and gave me a rental car to use in the meantime. The rental was also a Toyota sedan. It was a 2017 Toyota Corolla. The rental was very nice and clean and very similar in size and style to my regular car. And the best part was I only had to pay a small deducible to secure the rental car and tow for my Camry. Delta fixed my Camry within 3 days and I had my car back in no time. Thanks Delta for getting my car fixed so fast!

DO NOT BUY A EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM DELTA AUTO PROTECTION. I HAVE MY 2013 BMW X3 IN THE SHOP FOR 12 DAYS. THEY TOOK THEIR TIME AND SENT AN INSPECTOR TO THE SHOP. CAR HAS BEEN DONE AND THEY PROMISED TO PAY THEIR PORTION OF THE BILL. THEY R COMPLETELY DISHONEST AND LIED ABOUT PROMISING TO PAY THEIR PART. I HAVE CALLED 5 TO 6 TIMES A DAY AS WELL AS THE OWNER OF THE SHOP! STILL NOBODY HAS EVEN CALLED US ABOUT PAYING THEIR PROMISED PORTION OF THE BILL!! THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE CRAP AND HAVE NO RESPECT, EMPAHTY OR SYMPHATIZE WITH THE CONSUMER. I HAVE BEEN ON THE PHONE FOR OVER 1 HOUR AND GET NOTHING BUT VOICE MAILS!! I LEFT NUMEROUS MESSAGES AND STILL CANNOT GET THROUGH TO TALK... Read More

My experience is worse than Julianne's and I feel badly for her. I had a 2008 Porsche Cayman in excellent condition. Yes it is a very expensive car to maintain, even for un-covered costs. So the WHOLE reason I purchased my warranty was for a catastrophic engine or drive train failure. Sadly, my engine did seize and the car is disabled and inoperable. It took 5 weeks of left messages, going on hold for an hour every time only to be punted over to an overflow line which is no one affiliated to Delta. I NEVER got a call back despite numerous promises. After 5 weeks I was then asked to spend another $12-$1500 to remove and completely disassemble engine and check it .....again. They said if... I have had an overwhelming poor experience with this company. My 2013 GM vehicle became disabled and inoperable. I had it towed to a local, reputable GM dealership. It took two days and 13 phone calls to finally reach a claims representative to assign an inspector. My service writer at the GM dealership also said it took several calls to finally get through and reach a claims representative. After six days passed, still no inspection of my car, and subsequent calls to Delta proved futile. Finally on the 9th day a field inspector showed, and denied coverage for one of three major issues. On the one part of the engine he agreed to cover, he allowed for an aftermarket part in which the... Read More

Got a 2005 Toyota pickup with over 200,000 miles. It literally just stopped on the side of the road one day. No idea what went wrong and I'm a decent mechanic myself. Called Delta Auto Protect up and they hooked me up with both a tow truck and a rental car. Turned out to be the fusible link. I was back on the road in a day. Delta Auto Protect isn't just a kind of coverage for an older vehicle... It's an investment.

I realized I had a leak in my gas tank. I'd need to fill up more frequently but the gas would always be on E within me driving just a few miles. I was losing a lot of money, so I finally brought it into the repair shop to do something about it. I was able to utilize my extended warranty from Delta Auto a Protect to get the leak fixed. It took just a few hours for the shop to get it done and I was out the door after paying a small fee. I will definitely recommend this company to friends and my family. If you need extended protection for your vehicle, Delta Auto Protect is definitely a great choice.
