Excellent people on phone when establishing contact, however, that changes dramatically when attempting to have repairs covered. The policy is handled by a second( quiet) company who's main objective is to NOT fairly pay for repair. Have had repair people asked "is that the best price", and more recently wanted to out source a critical safety part for my vehicle to save a few $. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Great customer service with registration and setting up direct pay for their "best" coverage. However, when I needed repairs the majority of it was not covered because I did not have the "super package". What "super package"? My contract showed all the available plans and I paid for the highest plan offered. There was no mention of a "super package". Scam. Don't buy.

Their contract states they cover the steering rack, tie rods and stabilizer links and bushings but when they all broke Carchex refused to pay the repair bill of over $3,500. They claimed all of these must have been pre-existing. I called repeatedly to try and get this resolved and was placed on hold immediately after calling. I would be on hold for 20-30 minutes and then sent to voicemail. I left numerous voicemails that were never returned. It is extremely frustrating to pay over $200 a month for the most comprehensive plan and have them deny the claims! And if you want to cancel, good luck! They'll keep auto debiting your account even after leaving multiple messages telling... Read More

Decided to get a warranty with CARCHEX after seeing so many good reviews, but after receiving the information about the warranties they offer,I found that they did not meet our needs and decided to cancel our warranty before the first thirty days .After starting the cancellation process , I mailed in a statement explaining that I wanted to cancel the warranty to address provided. After a week I called to check the status of my refund and was told that I need to send another letter requesting cancellation ,along with mileage of my vehicle. I was advise that it would take sixty to ninety days for a refund, and to even give a review you must have a Facebook account.

I'm REALLY trying to stay positive and hoping and praying my situation works in a positive way...Here's some background We purchased a 2011 Jaguar 8 mos. Ago. Purchased thTitanium Coverage with Carchex after investigating SEVERAL competitors...at the time we were told it's one of the best coverages, will cover ALL Major issues and only oil change. Tire rotations, alignmenta would come out of pocket. Well. here we are now looking at a fuel injectors issue where The a warranty admins. (ROYALTY ADMINISTRATORS) are stating that the repairs are NOT covered since the fuel injectors were contaminated and spilled al over the engine due to "wear and tear" (which is not covered). (DEFINE WEAR AND... Read More

How are they rating 9.8 stars? THIS is how we just lost the last month with our car AND a few hundreds of dolloars, NOT including what we have to pay out-of-pocket for the repair now. But let me start over... They do a great job of making you feel great parting with thousands of dollars for a warranty that looks great on paper. And we read every single word of this warranty BEFORE paying for it. What they don't tell you is THEY do not provide this warranty. They farm you out to one of those companies that have the seriously negative reviews. We ended up with American Auto Shield. We had to make a serious claim shortly after the warranty went into effect, and here it is over three weeks... Read More

I bought this warranty under the guise that it was a good one to get according to the sales rep. I saw the affiliations the company has such as AAA, and others. I also noticed Allstate insurance as a partner. Although I was never a customer of Allstate I had a bad experience from them in which they covered accident from someone who hit me, and wasn't willing to do business as other companies do in regards to paying out claims. I was leery somewhat, but I thought it was just a partner company like many corporations have within their spectrum. Well, after months of being with Carchex, I called to make certain my repair needed would be covered. I spoke to customer service over the phone and... Read More

Carchex is the recommended Car Warranty Provider by CarFax. I called them after I had purchased an Extended Warranty on my automobile from my Ford Dealer. I was asked to send my quote from Ford, and they were able to get me a lower price without the 10% downpayment for their top coverage. The Warranty also covered my Key Fob without an extra charge. It was included in the quote. The only things that the top plan did not cover was the Air Bags and Seat Belts which is why I gave it a 4/5 stars. Otherwise, it is a top notch plan that is comprehensive and affordable.
