Medical Guardian offers five easy to use and install devices with that can be equipped with optional fall detection and your choice of landline, cellular, or mobile/GPS connectivity.

They have five different medical alert packages available, each equipped with the clients' choice of pendant, wristband, or clip-on water-resistant alert buttons.

Their most affordable system, the Classic Guardian, boasts an impressive 1,300-foot button-to-base station range in every direction and a 32-hour backup battery life. Other devices offer even longer battery life—up to seven days.

Medical Guardian recently introduced the Guardian Mini. The unit is quite petite, weighing in at just over an ounce and measuring 1.38 inches across. You can wear it on a lanyard or clip it anywhere on your person with the clip that's included.

Medical Guardian offers a mobile app that can be set up to issue a variety of alerts to family members. For family members and caregivers who prefer not to install the app, alerts can be delivered via text message or email.

The company’s latest product is the MGMove smartwatch, powered by AT&T 4G LTE. The touch-screen device has a multitude of features that combine the conveniences of a smartwatch with the functionality of a help button. It can report emergencies to the monitoring center using the SOS app, track their steps to keep up with their daily goals, check the weather at any time, and set reminders. The watch can also be used as a messaging device between the user and their Care Circle members.

Medical Guardian offers free equipment for two of its five products. Their services are equally affordable, with prices ranging from $29.95 to $49.95 a month. Its newest product, the MGMove smartwatch, has a purchase price of $199.95 and a service plan that costs $44.95. It offers enhanced features such as reminders and messaging. The lowest-cost option from Medical Guardian’s line of on-the-go and at-home medical alert devices includes a free neck pendant or wristband with a call button.

I am so glad that this system is in my house. Two weeks ago I fell and to be able to hit the alert button and talk to someone right away really calmed me down. To have assistance immediately was wonderful. Allen Bradley

The system works well. The only problem is that my husband has weakened hands and arms and it is hard for him to press the button. It takes more strength than he has. We have to devise ways for him to exert pressure, such as pressing on it with his pocket knife or pushing it against a hard surface. But if he falls he may not be able to execute an alternate way to press the button. If you have any suggestions, we're eager to hear them.

I live alone with my elderly cat, and I feel quite comfortable knowing that a push of a button will bring any help, if necessary. I can’t imagine a better solution to feeling safe at 84. Thanks so much.

We haven't had to use it, fortunately, but when we do our monthly test, the folks on the other end of the line are very nice and don't sound annoyed that we are only "testing" the equipment. The watch is small, my Mom thinks it looks a little Apple Watch like, so she isn't embarrassed to wear it. The cellular box clips easily on her purse so that she feels secure on the go also. Pricing is fair, so far seems to be a good product.

I love my Medical Alert. It is lightweight and easy to wear., even in the shower. The staff are quick to answer the alarm even when you are testing it. I would recommend this to all my friends and family when they have a need for one for sure.

Thank goodness I have only had to use my Medical Guardian Alert System one time since I received it. I had fallen into the floor and could not get up! I pushed my Medical Alert Necklace. When they came on, I told them what had happened and asked them to call my emergency contact person. My son-in-law arrived in just over 3 minutes. Not as dramatic as it could have been! Thank you Medical Guardian staff for coming through for me. I am so glad that I am covered by this Alert System. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Customer service rep was extremely helpful and patient when explaining plan and then signing my parents up. Delivery was quick and Installation was easy. Hoping we won’t need it but happy to have it if they do.

Wearing a MGMA necklace gives me a sense of security. My balance is not always good but help is a button away if I should fall. Checking into the system each month gives me an even more sense of security....and the person answering is always right there! This necklace (and the modem is a GPS for MGMA. It monitors where I am while I'm away from my home!) gives me that 'feel good' feeling!
