Though most of the terms and conditions of their policies are fairly standard, their remarkable flat rate service fee of $60 is exceptionally generous. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel this Agreement within the first thirty (30) days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees, less any service costs incurred by us. If this Agreement is canceled after thirty (30) days, you shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by us. If we have provided services and the amount of the service costs incurred by us is greater than the contract fees paid, then no refund will be due to you.

This has to be one of the best companies when it comes to honoring everything they promise. Sad to say I have come to not expect much when I try to get places like insurance companies to fix or repair something. After my dishwasher went out I called them and the customer service was professional, they listened, and they sent someone out right away. I knew right then that I made the right choice and now I no longer have to watch endless youtube videos when trying do minor repairs around the house. As long as I have a home, I will have a Total Home warranty.

My home warranty is worth every penny. With Total Home Protection, I had several appliances repaired this year without worrying about the cost. In fact, when my air conditioner broke down this past summer, I barely even noticed! I just picked up the phone and put in my claim. Practically that same day, a service contractor came to my house and within a matter of hours I was back to enjoying a cool breeze. I also love that most appliances that cannot be repaired are replaceable. In other words, I basically got a brand-new dishwasher courtesy of my home warranty. Highly recommend.

Apparently everyone's garage door breaks down after a while. Recently, I was just right when my garage door opener suddenly stopped working. Upon calling the customer service line, I learned that repairs to my garage door openers were covered by my plan. That was a surprise! I had never thought about my garage door opener malfunctioning because it had never done it before. The company quickly scheduled someone and they came out to take a look 2 days later. That technician fixed it in just 10 minutes. He really knew what he was doing, and he explained the problem to me thoroughly, which I actually appreciated. I purchased a home warranty from Total Home and boy am I glad I did. The roof on my house has a leak that I didn't know about for a long time. When I finally caught it one day during a heavy downpour, I called Total Home Protection right away to see if it was covered. The girl on the phone urged me to file a claim immediately and schedule someone to come by. She warned that if my roof leak caused any secondary damage, that would not be covered in my plan. I did exactly what she instructed, and luckily I was able to have that minor leak fixed before it caused any damage. I really appreciate the transparency, and honesty she exhibited. I guess we will see..... I purchased a beautiful home in March, 2018. Prior to the purchase, I purchased the best THP plan I could purchase and I purchased a 5 year plan which reduced my annual charges and gave me an additional one year for free. The total cost was about $17-1800. The agreement from "TIM" and follow up reinteration from "KEVIN" and from "RITA" is that no matter what has to be done to a covered appliance, repair, parts, labor and/or replacement, my ONLY charge is the $45 call out fee. Rating should be a negative number. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. They will find any excuse to deny any claim over a few hundred dollars. Example: My Samsung refrigerator would not hold temp and ice maker freezing up constantly. They denied the claim saying it was a manufacturers defect and therefore they are not responsible. On another occasion one of my a/c units was not working properly and would run then freeze. The service tech they sent to the house reported back that the system was working properly so no claim. The Total Home Protection Home Warranty is absolutely not trustworthy. I had two claims in my rental property but, they never paid me. They always tried to say something else or make up an excuse to refuse the payment. Please check yelp.com to see more details about this company. I highly do not recommend it.

One winter, my garage door suddenly started opening halfway and then closing again, and since it was so cold it was awful to go outside to open it manually. I can't believe how quickly Total Home was able to get a contractor out to fix my door. He came the next day after my claim was processed, despite the roads being covered in snow. He was so friendly and professional and was able to quickly fix my garage. He even showed me a neat trick to try in the event that it malfunctioned. I am very impressed by the service I received.
