ServicePlus offers two types of plans: Gold and Platinum. Both of these have a series of optional add-ons, such as pools, spas, central vacuum, limited roof leaks, and septic systems, to name a few. Their pre-packaged plans can therefore be expanded to suit every homeowner's needs. No home inspection is required to purchase a policy. Appliance and system coverage is guaranteed regardless of age, make, or model. However, maintenance records are required for service and the company has a pre-existing condition policy which is unusual in the industry and may limit coverage.

For a single-family home in a small midwestern city, ServicePlus' Gold Plan premium is $569. The company's Platinum plan for the same home runs $649. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel this Agreement within the first thirty (30) days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees, less any service costs incurred by us. If this Agreement is canceled after thirty (30) days, you shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by us. If we have provided services and the amount of the service costs incurred by us is greater than the contract fees paid, then no refund will be due to you.

This is the worst home warranty company ever. I filed an issue and after days of waiting finally called them. they told me no one was available to fix my problem and that I could hire someone and they would pay on submission of the bill. Well, on submission they said they would only pay the copay and nothing else because what was done was not covered. then, to get that money back I had to file a complaint with the New Jersey better business bureau. it took me almost 6 months to get the $60 of the $630 b ill. An awful company and one that should not be trusted.

Please advise on the status of my 250.00 check for my dryer that you would not fix but offered me 250.00 to buy a new one. Claim was placed in March and still when I call about status of check I get the run around on my check being cut. I have a dryer with a big crack in drum that is now destroying my clothes. I live on social security and need this 250.00 to help me buy a new dryer. I have called many times and had this escalated several times. Please help me get this check so I can buy a new dryer.

This is a horrible company filled with dishonesty and deception. I would run from this company unless you enjoy being cheated. I placed four claims under this contract and they found a way to deny each. I paid in full for a three year contract. I won't do that again. I have purchased 6 homes and have had warranty contracts on each and by far Serviceplus is the absolute worst.

I am very disappointed with my experience so far. Have been waiting for a check for a dryer that could not be repaired for over 2 months. Every time i call they extend the waiting time and say they have a backlog. Customer servis agents are very rude. Will be canceling the next 5 years I already paid for.

Service plus home warranty is negative points bad ,worst , they compensated a Cheque for garbage disposal which I haven’t received until now ,5 months from approved date .managers or supervisor called compensated us with 5 free service calls. When I try to use them they will not assign the technician. The claims remain unattended for weeks . They weave stories which are cock and bull stories . I cannot use those words to describe my experience because the reviews would not be posted

I filed a claim one week ago for a leaking roof. I paid for the platinum membership, which clearly states having leaking roof coverage on their own website. I have not heard anything in regards to fixing the problem, or even having a technician come look at the problem. I have called (gotten hung up on every time by the robotic phone system) no matter what number I push for help, have not received a single response to multiple emails to every email address listed and have not been able to speak to a human yet. DO NOT engage a contract with this company. I had a claim for a refrigerator in July of 2021. After many phone calls (requiring hours of my time) I was finally offered $300 for the claim. To make matters worse, I was told not to purchase a new refrigerator until I received the compensation. To date (nearly a year later) I have not received my check! As I type this, I have been on hold for over 45 minutes and have yet to speak to a person whom can handle this issue. This is a very unprofessional company! Please note, they do not deserve even one star!

Do not waste your time or money with this unprofessional company. I had a claim for my dryer and wrote what the issues were, and they only addressed one issue and then I showed technician what I wrote on claim, and he looked at the dryer again and said I had a cracked drum. I called service plus while I was with the technician, and he explained to them what was wrong with dryer, and they stated that he needs to place a work order. He left and did as they asked. I paid 75.00 for heater element replaced but the loud noise was not fixed. I got a call a few days later by supervisor stating they will not fix drum as dryer is too old (5 yrs. old Samsung that last 10 yrs.) and cost too much.... Read More

Waited two weeks to have technician come. Told tracing for electrical problem not covered? Difficulty cancelling the two warranties. I think this was totally unacceptable service. Don't waste your time and money.

Signed up with them because they sounded like a great value. I had a previous home warranty so I wanted the policy with ServicePlus to start when the other one terminated, I was told this wasn't going to be a problem. I sent them my previous policy, they said that my ServicePlus policy would start on the same day the other terminated. A week after the termination of my previous policy, my AC goes out. I call, there are no humans to answer the phones after hours. I was unable to open a service ticket online because, they never started my policy. DO NOT give your money to these people. I'm happy to provide any documentation needed to back up my claims.
