ServicePlus offers two types of plans: Gold and Platinum. Both of these have a series of optional add-ons, such as pools, spas, central vacuum, limited roof leaks, and septic systems, to name a few. Their pre-packaged plans can therefore be expanded to suit every homeowner's needs. No home inspection is required to purchase a policy. Appliance and system coverage is guaranteed regardless of age, make, or model. However, maintenance records are required for service and the company has a pre-existing condition policy which is unusual in the industry and may limit coverage.

For a single-family home in a small midwestern city, ServicePlus' Gold Plan premium is $569. The company's Platinum plan for the same home runs $649. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel this Agreement within the first thirty (30) days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees, less any service costs incurred by us. If this Agreement is canceled after thirty (30) days, you shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by us. If we have provided services and the amount of the service costs incurred by us is greater than the contract fees paid, then no refund will be due to you.

I’m highly dissatisfied with Service Plus Warranty. In JANUARY I called regarding my washer not working, they sent someone out who stated he needed a part. Weeks went by nothing. I called they stated the part isn’t made anymore and they could send me a check for $200. A washer cost far more than $200. JUNE 16th (6 months later they sent the $200 check out via mail). Today it is JULY 21st (7 months after first inquiry) I have not received a check. I can wait 90 days for the check to cancel and they resend one or pay $35 for them to write a new check. I pay them monthly and paid my $75 service fee and they can’t do their job as a home warranty company and ensure I have a working washer for... Read More

If I could give it - stars I would. The service covered on the customer portal clearly states plumbing. After notifying them that I had a plumbing issue in my bathroom they located a plumber after about a week. The courteous plumber saw my problem and then said he was to collect $75.00. I gladly paid him assuming he was going to fix the problem. He came back 15 minutes later and said the company denied the service. He apologized profusely but said his hands were tied and that he was going to reevaluate whether to continue with Service Plus as he felt that it was almost theft. Whatever you do, DO NOT use this company. They refused my claim for a water heater because the burner is longer working. They sent the own technician for diagnostic were reported to them burner is no longer make the manufacture. THERE WAS NO HOT WATER!! It was obviously broken. They told me they will give $200. When I notified the service department that I wanted to cancel this non-service, I was belittled and told that I had a contract, and used the analogy that I could not break it because it was like "buying a car and deciding a month later you didn't like the color". They certainly take your money, but don't pay out!!! Over a year has passed with claim 727165 and I still haven't been paid. I have called so many times, I'm sick of talking with them. Absolutely no response to emails. Never send them your money.

We have contract, coverage: 4/27/2018-4/28/2024 had refrigerator claim 2022 2nd October were offered reimbursement of $300 Have Clothes Washing Machine since fall 2021 offered $275 It is now April 2023 after 10-20 phone calls no checks issued. Maybe they can follow through. Considering other options.

After reading a few of the negative comments on this page I will just agree with everything I read. This is a nightmare company to try to get anything done and any home service company that cannot get techs to answer their service requests should be a warning. Of course one does not know that so before choosing this company or any home service co, call various service providers such as plumbers and electricians and find out if they will work for them before spending your money.

Stay away from this company. They have a 30 day grace/waiting period that they do not pay any claims on. SO you are paying for a month for nothing. They do say they offer a 30 day Money back guarantee but they dont. They even mention in contract, WHICH i finally received a month later when i asked again for contract. Something about pro rated refund, yet when you ask, No refund, As the contract doesnt cover what salesman said. (could be why i didnt get contract until after 30 days) i wouldnt know. about no refund even though they have a logo with it on it ? Very unscrupulous company. Do not believe the "good " reviews. Its a joke. I filled 3 simple yet critical services over 14 months and 2 of the three were denied. They act like they cover things but are so slick about denial. For example, the electrical on the water heater failed, they wouldn't cover it because they cover the water heater but not the electrical for it. They covered the refrigerator/freezer but don't cover parts on the freezer ie: ice maker and other items. Don't both save your money go with First American. Again these "good" reviews are a lie. RUN RUN RUN
