ServicePlus offers two types of plans: Gold and Platinum. Both of these have a series of optional add-ons, such as pools, spas, central vacuum, limited roof leaks, and septic systems, to name a few. Their pre-packaged plans can therefore be expanded to suit every homeowner's needs. No home inspection is required to purchase a policy. Appliance and system coverage is guaranteed regardless of age, make, or model. However, maintenance records are required for service and the company has a pre-existing condition policy which is unusual in the industry and may limit coverage.

For a single-family home in a small midwestern city, ServicePlus' Gold Plan premium is $569. The company's Platinum plan for the same home runs $649. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel this Agreement within the first thirty (30) days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees, less any service costs incurred by us. If this Agreement is canceled after thirty (30) days, you shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by us. If we have provided services and the amount of the service costs incurred by us is greater than the contract fees paid, then no refund will be due to you.

Serviceplus is not an honest company. I had an issue with my air conditioner. It took 28 days to get a response. When I did get a response the claim was denied. I had several other issues under the suppose warranty and they refused to get those items repaired as well. I have found them to be totally dishonest. I paid them upfront for the entire contract amount. I will never do that again and I warn everyone to never do business with this company unless you would to be diasppinted.

Service Home Warranty (SHW) is a scam in my books. They refused to cover a claim on my AC unit in April 2022 . They offered a $300 "Goodwill" payment. It is now December 2022. MANY MANY calls to SHW and the always given lame excuses as to why I have not received my $300. 00. I have a two years left on my warranty agreement and they WILL NOT cancel the contract. They did not hold up to their agreement of the "Goodwill" payment of $300. What kind o f company takes 8+ months to send a check. If I could rate them a negative number I would. Great job SHW of taking care of the elderly. Your company is horrible at customer and phone service.

I contacted the company to service my Samsung Dryer. After not hearing from the first technician they recommended, they finally referred me to someone else. The technician informed ServicePlus that a specific part was necessary to fix the dryer. They said that they would "total out" the dryer, since the part exceed what they claimed was the value of the dryer. They agreed to send me a check for $250, which was "approved" in September 2022. It is now December and no check has been mailed. My advice is to stay away from this company...you'd be better off stuffing your money under the mattress!

I paid for 2!! home warranties - they have never once sent a technician out for any claim I have submitted. Instead, they tell me they will pay me 100 and 200 dollars to drop the claim because they ARE UNABLE TO SERVICE MY ACOOUNT! I HAVE NEVER ONCE RECEIVED THE money from them. I call and I get a HUGE run around that the money is coming- and they flat refuse to let me out of these contracts. I have been waiting for 6 months for 150- that they told me I had to take because they don't have service technicians available in my area. I have tried to submit 5 different things as simple as my ceiling fan quit working and they can't even find a service tech for that!! They're fucking asshole... Read More

This company is a joke. I purchased a home in September and the home came with a home protection plan. I didn't know the stove wasn't working before I moved in. I paid $45.00 for service to come and check on the stove, the technician stated that they would order the part. The company decided that the amount to have the stove repaired was too much and only offered me $200.00 for the stove. I called to see where my funds were, they had the audacity to informed me that I stated that I didn't want the $200.00. Who in their right mind in this economy would say that. I called to cancel when they told me I needed to and the man refused telling me he was going to give me two free months and if I still wanted to cancel I could at that time knowing that they would not because my policy was about to renew. I called and Izabella that says she is the manager said she would not cancel it and if I did not pay it they would report it on to the credit bureau and ruin my credit. I told them I could not afford it and that I was moving and she said your not canceling this policy. I will be filing a complain for fraudulent business practices with the FtC

After being a customer for almost a year, only 20% of the claims 1 out of 5 (4 out of 5 unresolved claims) was completed. ServicePlus requires you to have the technician at your home call for repair. When I followed this procedure Neither the technician or I was able to get through. One of the technicians called and respectful said that they cannot hold up their schedule while on hold for the service authorization department. I would have to pay the $400 up front and hope that I would receive reimbursement. After not having a working range for over a month that could not be fixed by their hired technician. I was offered 200.00 to replace a Samsung range. I sent multiple emails and voice mails no response. stay away!

I am currently a customer of Service plus. I had a claim in the first part of the year where I agreed with serviceplus that I would use my own contractor to execute the repair faster than they could provide. The job was done they accepted in June to reimburse me the $277 they owed me for the contractor work and I have yet to receive payment. I have send multiple email and left multiple voicemails for no response. This company is not worth doing business with due to their poor customer service. Iw ill be canceling my 5 policies with them and take my biusiness elsewhere. Stay away.

Just terrible. Salespeople are not honest. Service personnel are rude, unhelpful and almost impossible to reach. Stay away from this company.
