Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I talked with John, who was very polite and understanding. He went the extra steps to get me the help I needed. I am not waking fo a contractor to look at my roof to see about a leak. Peace of mind!

Had a good initial conversation submitting a claim, and they said they'd send someone out. Not much news beyond that yet—hopefully they're good, and we don't end up paying too much!

$150 for limit for repair of a $1200 appliance. Less than 4 years old is not really sufficient. In a rural area a trip charge is $100. Doesn't pay to buy this warranty if you are in a rural area

BUYER BEWARE! I bought this warranty in good faith from the sales rep with the promise that all things I needed covered were fully covered with this warranty. And with a co-pay of $45 per claim. They only cover certain amounts. They are truly just a discount plan that discounts the cost of repairs when they go over a low $ amount. You are on the hook for the remainder. When I spoke to customer service they said that was the cap and they have caps on all things based on the life of the plan so they basically don't lose money with what I have paid. I've been a member for a year and a half and this is the first time we have needed to make a claim. Having not so good situations with other customer service agents, I wasn't prepared for the quick, friendly service I got when I called. The gal who answered gently led me down the path of required info needed and explained the whole process to me of what to expect and what I would be required to do. The whole call lasted about 20 minutes and when we hung up I was very satisfied!
