Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Select promptly answered my call regarding a broken faucet and set up service provider for me for the following day. However beware of what is not covered - I bought the warranty and it said the plumbing system was covered in big letters. First claim out of the gate was denied via email, after the plumber had been arranged with no reason given. When I called to get an explanation I was told it was because the faucets are not covered - apparently not on the list of items covered in the small print. I was offered extra coverage at an additional $49.99. My bad for not checking more carefully, but I did ask the agent when I bought the policy (with 2 other ones for my rental properties) if...
