Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

Just the initial call to report that my Trane Heat Pump is finished. The call went well. The representative was helpful and efficient with good interpersonal skills and displayed empathy. When your heat pump expires it is not a good time but she made it ok!

The warranty is a peace of mind knowing that your appliance service will be covered, however there are several restrictions in the contract that limits the service. This is true for all other home warranty companies including SHW. The investment is more a benefit for the tenants.

When i purchased my home my realtor suggested this company. They been a great benefit to me and my family. Very easy to make a claim and quick to response to the claim that was submitted. 90% of the claims were repairable

I was freaking out about getting a charge for another $441.00. it was taken out of my bank. Left me without enough $ to pay my bills! Thank goodness it was a misunderstanding. they thought that I wanted the three year policy when all I wanted was the one year policy. As soon as I called and let them know about this it was in the works for my refund immediately! No questions asked! This company really seems to work with you. I haven't had it long enough or needed to make a claim yet. I can tell you the customer service is really good though. I will be writing another review once I have a claim. Hopefully that never happens though! Lol! 😁
