For the sake of education and peace-of-mind, this company provides a sample contract and quote calculator on their website. In exchange for a $75 administration fee, they also offer a pro-rated refund if the initial 30 days have expired.

Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement. The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract. After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I was at first very angry at the first customer serv rep. as he stated that I just called to waste his time, me trying to get the information that I needed to make sure I would be cover properly.. Sent me email and Voice messages stating that Hang Up and if I wasnt interested to not waste his time.. I called back and was helped by Henry, who was very understanding of my situation and very knowledgeable when it came to the plans and options. At the end I give all credit to Henry Richardson for assisting me in getting a new Home Warranty

SCAM!!!! They try to deny all your claims. they do not have technicians to come work on your items and no matter what you call in about they say that will be submitted and you will get an email in 24-48 hours. I have had it over a year. first thing they did was charge me for my second ac unit. then when i called in a claim they tried to tell me i didnt have coverage. i proved i did but it needed to be summitted to the business office and they would let me know in 24-48 hours luckily it was dec and i didn't have to have ac. i called them and we went back and forth for 1 month before they could find a contractor to do their warranty work. the next time i had a claim and...
