Nightmare situation helped greatly by Denise. Water backing up on bathtubs, toilets, leaking on the floor in numerous places and the plumber together with my help having trouble figuring it out. Ran a line from more than one access location and took hours before deciding to put a camera in there and see what was going on. Burst pipe in the back yard was found. Long story short I saved money on the huge job because of the really good tech that HSc sent out, and Denise covered 500 dollars of it fo rme on top of it. Cleaning the house after this whole mess with the tech helping but would have been much worse without him and without Denise.
Fast service and everything went well. Denise helped me throughout the way and always was impressively on top of it. I paid my 125 deductible and 35 for a filter and a big repair which took a few hours was done to my air conditioner up in the attic.
This company is a joke. They run a scam by denying claims without good reasoning. They should be sued and put out of business. I don’t even know where to begin with my awful experience with this company. After 2 months of follow-up (yes I called almost every other day, and was either on hold or got the same response from different people or was directly to a voicemail) and not having a working AC, I was told my equipment was not covered and that they cant do anything about it. There was nothing mentioned in the agreement that my equipment was not covered. Basically they are very good at coming up with reasons to deny any claim. Poor service; some contractors not correct. They do not tell the truth about damage to charge more money for repairs. I have not had good experience with them.
When I called they picked up the phone rite away I did not have to wait to speak to someone I was able to get service the next morning. This is exactly as advertised a good service.
In June 2016 I signed a warranty contract with Home Service Club (HSC) to cover my aging systems an appliances since my house is built in 1997. My main concern was my AC system specially in the heat waves of the south when it works the hardest. A couple of days ago our 2nd floor A/C unit stopped cooling so I gave them a call and a day later they sent someone to take a look. The technician said the unit is working but is low in the refrigerant (Freon) and there might be a leak somewhere. So he called them back and I overheard him discussing replacement costs with them. Repair man came out that this compnay sent and did a repair on out air conditioner. worked great for a few days and then gave out agian. We called the repair man and he came out agian and this time said it was a much more significant failure and a differnet one from last one and we needed to let warranty company know. At first it was a bit frustrating because we felt he should have diagnosed and repaired it the first time. After talking to the warranty company a few times and doing some research it seems that there was no way he can diagnose it cause it was working and the part failed electrically. I purchased a home warranty from this company on 06/17/2016. I initially decided on HSC due to their no hassle online service request and the information received from their customer representative. I bought the comprehensive plan and added roof coverage as my package. I told HSC that my house was an older house and all the appliances were on the older side and would probably need repair soon, and asked if that would pose any problems as far as service request or coverage. I was assured by the HSC that as long as it was past the 10 day waiting period and was not a "pre-existing" condition repairs will be honored and/or service request.
