Home Service Club’s base-level 12 month home warranties start with a minimum annual premium of $400. Coverage is not dependent on a home inspection, and this price point is slightly on the higher side of the industry standard. With that in mind, they do offer a 30 day pro-rated cancellation policy, minus a $45 dollar administration fee.

Cancellation Policy

The customer may cancel the HSC service agreement for any reason within the first thirty 30 days following the date of purchase and shall be entitled to a refund of the paid contract fees less any service costs incurred by HSC and an administrative fee of up to $45. After 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fees for the unexpired term, less any service costs and an administrative fee of up to $45. This contract may be canceled by HSC for nonpayment of contract fee, fraud or misrepresentation by the customer, by agreement between client and company, or if the customer threatens to harm or does harm the safety or well-being of HSC, their property, employees or contractors. HSC may cancel the contract without reason at any time in the first 30 days following its effective date. If HSC cancels the contract within the first 30 days, the customer will not be charged an administrative fee and shall be entitled to a refund of the paid contract fees less any service costs incurred. If HSC cancels the contract after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fees for the unexpired term, less any service costs and an administrative fee of up to $45.

I've been with them for about a year and a half now and just had my first claim. my hot tub had some malfunction and i called them about it. I was treated well and the girl assured me that verything will be taken care of. A specialist was scheudled lightning fast and camy by the next day and right on time. I dont know, and dont care, what he did, but a little over an hour and a few trips to his truck later he said "all done here" and smiled. The tub has been good ever since. Can't complain about anything, good service.

Had a fine experience with this company recently when we had an emergency plumbing issue. pipes tend to freeze here in PA and after going through that ordeal and thinking all is done, our faucet and shower cartridges start leaking. Thankfully this was a much easier and cheaper process, the Home Service Club sent out their plumber as we did not want to use the one we hired before, he replaced both and all works fine now. I wish they offered auto warranties I would sign everything up here.

We have been with The Home Service Club for a little over two years now and have had a couple of minuscule claims. All went well as they should have and we never had any complaints and never left any reviews. We, just recently, finished our first what I would call major claim. Heating stopped working and the house got cold quickly. It was one of those things which make you instantly nervous. But that was short lived. We were given a technician who came to the house right way and was exceptionally polite and confident in his abilities. Been with HSC for 5 months now. They leave me more confused about my contract than what I signed up for. For example my first month with them and my a/c system stopped working. I had to pay $800 out of pocket because it was a new contract with them and they considered it a pre-existing condition regardless of what the contractor found or say. HSC said they can do nothing and no form of contract agreement actions until after 30days of getting a contract with them when they state that the contract once you paid up front for a contract it starts 15days from when you opened the contract with them.
