Choice Home Warranty offers existing homeowners two plans, each of which cover a mix of systems and appliances. The primary difference between its Total plan and its Basic plan is that refrigerators, washers and dryers, and air conditioning systems are not included in the Basic Plan. Optional coverage for such items as pools and spas, well pumps, and septic systems is available for an additional fee. The company states that, in any case, its total liability for any single item is capped at $3000, but lower limits do apply to some covered items.

We requested a quote for a single family home of less than 5000 square feet in a small midwestern city. The premium for Choice Home Warranty's Basic was $47.85 per month and the premium for its Total pan was $54.95 per month. With the cost difference between the two plans being only about $7 per month, to our mind, the Total plan a better value overall because it includes coverage for three of the most common appliances: refrigerators, washers, and dryers. It also includes coverage for air conditioning systems.

The company's co-pay for a service call is $85, slightly less than most comparable companies. The co-pay may be reduced further with special discounts and promotions.

Cancellation Policy

The contract shall be non-cancelable by the company except for nonpayment of contract fees or service fees, fraud or misrepresentation of facts by the customer, or by agreement between client and company. Customers may cancel within the first 30 days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees. If canceled after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by the company.

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED ON A PHONE CALL I HAD EARLIER TODAY, BUT RECEIVED A CALL FROM MYLES REUBEN AND WE TALKED AND HE SAID THAT HE WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THE "MANAGER" I SPOKE WITH EARLIER AND THAT IS NOT HOW THE COMPANY WORKS. SO I DID GET A PLAN WITH YOU PEOPLE BECAUSE MR. REUBEN WAS HELPFUL.

I am not sure who you are talking to. Look at Yelp reviews. I have used this company for last four years and have had really bad experience. I have called for AC repairs and none of my 3 ACs after any kind of breakage is covered for anything. Any cost more than minimal $ 200 they will reject. I will not recommend choice home warranty to any one. Not even to a person I don't like.

Got someone out to look at hot water in a very timely fashion. Now choice wants to wait on parts so we have been without hot water for 5 days so far in November and doesn’t look like we will have hot water anytime soon cause we have to wait on parts. Try taking a shower in November with no hot water

With out a doubt the worst company I ever work with. They are clues on how to care for customers. Fail to provide services that you pay for. Send techs with no tools to repair a job and then tell you it will be 5 days before they can fix anything. Their contract not worth the ink it’s printed on. They are a scam to take your money and never take care of you. Warning to ALL stay away!!! They are worthless

I can honestly say that this was a mistake and one I immediately want cancelled, I took a moment to look at your website yesterday as I was interested in a new warranty service. however after going to your site, I started receiving one call after another from your salespeople. Who were telling me, they could get me a better deal than online. While talking to one, while I was online looking at the offer, and articles from the bbb about the company.
