Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. You can submit a claim 24/7, including holidays, via phone, online, or app. The company utilizes proprietary technology to begin the dispatching process after a claim is filed. Choice Home Warranty offers existing homeowners two plans, each of which cover a mix of systems and appliances. The primary difference between its Total plan and its Basic plan is that refrigerators, washers and dryers, and air conditioning systems are not included in the Basic Plan. Optional coverage for such items as pools and spas, well pumps, and septic systems is available for an additional fee. The company states that, in any case, its total liability for any single item is capped at $3000, but lower limits do apply to some covered items.

We requested a quote for a single family home of less than 5000 square feet in a small midwestern city. The premium for Choice Home Warranty's Basic was $47.85 per month and the premium for its Total pan was $54.95 per month. With the cost difference between the two plans being only about $7 per month, to our mind, the Total plan a better value overall because it includes coverage for three of the most common appliances: refrigerators, washers, and dryers. It also includes coverage for air conditioning systems.

The company's co-pay for a service call is $85, slightly less than most comparable companies. The co-pay may be reduced further with special discounts and promotions.

Cancellation Policy

The contract shall be non-cancelable by the company except for nonpayment of contract fees or service fees, fraud or misrepresentation of facts by the customer, or by agreement between client and company. Customers may cancel within the first 30 days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees. If canceled after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by the company.

The repair company The Appliance Store was excellent. They came out the day I placed the repair request to repair my dishwasher.

My A/C went out on a Saturday afternoon. I sent in a claim and they were right on it. I was notified that someone would be at my house on Monday between 11am and 3pm. The technician was there within that time frame and did a fantastic job. I have dealt with other warranty companies, but this has been the most painless service. I like the way you can file your claim via computer and don't have to call and wait for someone to contact you. I will definitely recommend this warranty company to my family and friends. Thank you Choice Warranty for exceptional service.

The Central AC had cooling issues on Friday. We had company from Denver but I had portable room AC installed in all the bed rooms just in case. The unit is 12 years old. Advanced Air Solution was dispatched on Saturday and the problem was resolved. One should expect AC breakdown of some sort in hot weather as in Houston. It is worthwhile having an appliance warranty.

Had my AC unit looked at due to unit not working properly. Took 4 days for technician to arrive to assess unit. The company and technician were great. They stated my unit was low but did't know why. CHW denied claim stating due from corrosion and rust. My question how do they now this? This is what they wrote me. 1. I had to wait 11 days for a qualified technician showed up the 1st never ever worked on system 2nd guy wrong diag day 12 3rd young man diagnosed less then 15 min had it repaired within 2 hours 2. called in a exhaust fan 3 days later guy showed up to a look at it took pics and insisted I had to use there fan when okay-ed by choice , never heard back filed complaint still waiting 3. waited 4 days for something resembling a plummer to show up, when he did not good arguing with other customer on the phone then proceeded to give me attitude . three separate calls all resulting in the same VERY BAD SERVICE !!!!!!!!
