Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

I thought that choice warranty was a good deal til something went really wrong. My 2000 dollar crapped the bed. Your tech came out and was very nice and helpful. Told me that I needed a new compressor which is about 900-1000 dollars to replace. When he called it in I guess your department said not worth fixing. Which I can go along with that since it was about 15 years old. However the fact that u only wanted to give me 500 dollars towards a new one and only at a certain place. That is crazy. I feel that you should have at least given me the value of the compressor of 900-1000 dollars. I then had to call and beg for another 80 dollars. Like I said. I just think it is wrong
Thank you, Choice Warranty, for sending a technician out expeditiously, much appreciated. However, he didn't have to do anything, once we reset the unit he saw that there was nothing for him to do, so he said call him within 30 days if it happens again, we won't have to repay.
Did not take long for him to find problem, took picture and explained what had happened.
My air condition went out in May . I was told it needed to be replaced because of the compressor going out but Choice Home Warranty would not cover any of it . They told me that it was not old enough to be going out so it was not normal wear and tear. I went round and round with them without any resolution. I finally had to pay $8,000 out of pocket because of the temperatures in Texas. Then a month later my hot water heater went out. I am still trying to get this replaced. They said before they can do anything they need a second opinion. They have already sent THREE different companies out and they all say it needs to be replaced. so far so good. The workman from Florida Pro Services were/are very professional. I'll comment more after they install the defective part on Monday (the 11th).
Abraham was excellent and was so patient in helping me. He is an excellent salesman. Your company is very lucky to have him.
I will recommend this technician with a ten I will love to have Nelson appliance for all my appliances service he did and excellent Job.
It will not let me do 1 star. If I could I would. They all have the same scrip about we don’t do emergencies. I understand that but over a month to get someone to come out and fix your item is ridiculous. They find any excuse not to fix it and say read the contract for reasons things aren’t covered, which are many. Out of three things I put a claim in they only agreed to fix one. I will not be renewing with this warranty company.
The Service Technician was prompt and professional. He did a great job and cleaned-up afterwards.
