Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

This is the third home I have had with CHW. Their reaction time is excellent, and they always follow up. The employees are cheerful, and the contractors they use are equally polite. I will always have a contract with them, and recommend them to anyone!
I think that the amount you wanted to pay towards our repair was ridiculous the bill was going to be around $540.00 and you were going to pay a total of 81.00 plus I was going to pay the copay of 45.00. Would you be satisfied if you were in my place. Not happy !!!

It was a hassle all the way for them to get a company to come out and check out my water well only to find out all the items they donât cover after 2 weeks of hassle they couldâve told me up front beings how I talked to several folks over the phone with Choice now i have to call my own water well company to come out and fix because they kept sending just a plumbing company out not a water well company. Been a customer for around 2 years oh well guess you live and learn and yes I know I shouldâve also read what all they covered but I talked to I know atleast 3 choice customer reps you would think they wouldâve told me that and also if thatâs all they cover why send a plumbing company out to... Outstanding response to my issue. Issue was resolved with 24 hours by friendly employees from Webb Plumbing.
One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Was supposed to have covered my heat pump but wouldn't pay a penny. Had them for years. Even the Co that put in the new heat pump kept sending them paperwork but they refused to pay one dime on the $5200 heat pump.

Choice got a repair person out within 2 days and approved my claim within 48 hours after that. I am very pleased.
In this difficult time of hiding from Covid 19, a customer of this company would think that they would go above and beyond customer service. Not the case. My washer has been broken for 3 weeks and instead of allowing the technician to purchase from anywhere we have to wait. No washer in a time of closed laundry mats and unable to go to another place. We will not renew and suggest anyone run to another company

In a recent review of the claim, i show that the technician was authorized to get the parts directly from his distributor. During this time of Covid -19 there is certainly a slow down on mailing services.
I do show that at the time of writing that the part should have already been delivered and the repair scheduled.
I was told I couldn't see all your exceptions until I signed up and had 30 days to change my mind. Signed up this morning. First thing I noticed is that you don't cover heat pumps!! My furnace is a heat pump. So I have called over 10 times to cancel today only to be disconnected or connected to a busy type signal. I left Frances who was my representative a message but he never got back to me either. If this is indication of how this company I'm glad I'm canceling. How do I do that , sure quick to sign up but then nothing đ

Tony was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and offered me several options to meet my needs!
I've been with CHW for two years and this is the first time I've had to use it. Looks like I made a good choice. The communication was excellent and very timely. Service was the next day and the tech that came out was very impressive with his work, knowledge and ability to answer my questions. He saw what had to be done, got it okayed with CHW within minutes, went out and got the parts he needed and then came back to do the work. He spent about an hour here and was very thorough. Told me what he was doing and why, showed me the old parts that were no good anymore, and the new parts he put in.
