Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

Roman Perez handyman plumber seems honest and knowledgeable. He works with his son who does the prep work. Roman did the higher skilled portions and delegates portions to keep things affordable. Both are friendly and skilled.

I am glad I received this today to fill out. I am extremely disappointed in Choice warranty and have requested someone in higher management to contact me although that hasn’t happened. I had a clam on a refrigerator that went on for 5 months and many visits from a repair company. I had no refrigerator which is crazy and no one who seemed to care. At the end, Choice decided out of nowhere to stop trying to fix and offered me a low amount which I declined and then never received a new offer. After calling, choice said sorry we closed that claim and you would have to start all over again not caring a bit I had been without a refrigerator for 6 months. So far It was easy to file a claim yesterday. Now just waiting for the technicians to show up to see what is going on.
Fast, reliable and helpful. Reasonable wait time and easy to deal with. We haven’t had issues yet.
Don’t waste money on this company. Had it for 3 years and EVERY claim that I submitted was denied for various reasons and you have no recourse. Complete waste of my money.

I made a service request and I had an appointment and service completed within 48 hours. I’ve been in my home for over 20 years with warranty companies but this is the first warranty company with efficient service like this ! The service was completed and the repair company had all supplies on board so I was grateful that there was no waiting time to complete.
