Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

Choice Home Warranty is a fraud. The service is terrible and they do not pay their claims. I have filed reports for consumer fraud with the Arkansas Aattorney General.

The first technician never shown up. But second company technician came and did wonderful job.
Unfortunately, it took 3 calls by me to get my appliance repaired after 2 weeks. The 1st tech reported to Choice that I missed the appointment. Truth was I was here and he came to look at the fridge but had no idea what was wrong. It took 2 more calls to Choice pleading to have the claim reassigned before another tech was assigned. This tech was profession and accomodating. I notice a pattern with Choice that claims linger until multiple complaint calls are made to have claims assigned. I had a minor plumbing issue that took a month to be assigned. I am up in the air on whether to stay with Choice or go back to my prior warranty company.
Left comments on site yesterday. I am very disappointed with your denial of this claim. Through the 11+ years we have been customers, you have been pretty good about small jobs, most of which could have been done by a good handyman (unfortunately we do not have one in this house). Any large claims have resulted in lengthy battles to get a portion of the cost covered. Large claims seem to have unending lists of "fine print". We are in our 80's and just don't feel up to fighting with you to honor what was "promised" when our contract was purchased. "Repair, Replacement or possible Claim Buyout" are your words.
