Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

I took ownership of a new home Nov 9th and was furnished $600 towards a home warranty. I picked Choice. I submitted a claim Dec 20th because one of two a/c & heat units was not heating properly. It had previously functioned ok a few weeks earlier. A Choice tech determined yesterday the closed system has lost >50% of its freon. Deana Feby, case mgr tells me today the leak began before the term of the warranty and the claim was denied. I take exception to the determination, but cannot deny the leak may have started before or after the warranty began. Neither can Choice. A licensed a/c tech of my choosing ran a pressure check on both units in early October and the pressures were good... Read More

I'm so happy that I have my Choice Home Warranty plan. Filing a claim is simple and convenient, and a technician is quickly assigned to come out and provide the service needed. Having Choice Home Warranty gives me piece of mind and I highly recommend them.
Signing up was easy, hopefully service will be as easy. Time will tell if the service is good or not.
