NOTICE: On February 12, 2020, the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office filed suit against Omega Vehicle Services, LLC d/b/a Delta Auto Protect and its owners for violation of consumer protection laws. The complaint alleges that in numerous instances Delta Auto Protect failed to authorize covered repairs, wrongfully denied covered claims, failed to respond to claims inquiries, failed to refund consumers for contract cancellations, and otherwise misrepresented their business practices. This case has not yet come to trial and the truth of these allegations has not been adjudicated.

Delta Auto Protect's plans are some of the most affordable in the industry with industry-average restrictions and covered components. Warranties are backed by an A.M. Best "A" rated insurance company. The company offers specialty system coverage including high-tech electronic components and factory navigation systems.

The company's online reputation, however, has much room for improvement. It is rated "poor" by Trustpilot and F by the BBB. Many of the complaints about them concern a lack of customer service, difficulty in contacting them, and refusals to resolve customer disputes unless negative comments and reviews were withdrawn. Delta Auto Protect requires that diagnoses and repairs be conducted by ASE-certified mechanics.

It also has its own ASE-certified technicians on staff to facilitate communications between Delta and the repair facility, and to review diagnoses and estimates.

Delta Auto Protect reserves the right to supply the necessary covered replacement parts for a given vehicle, a reservation which has been the source of some customer complaints when the supplied parts did not function properly.

Delta Auto Protect has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau and a number of negative reviews and comments. The BBB also has an alert on Delta's page that states "It has come to BBB’s attention that the business is requesting that a customer(s) withdraw complaints filed through BBB as a condition of resolving the complaints. BBB does not withdraw complaints under these circumstances." The company's reputation on Trust Pilot is no better and earns it a "Poor" rating. Many customers complain that the company is very difficult to communicate with.

I'm always cautious about investing into anything now a days. I almost did not invest in an extended warranty for my used Toyota, but I'm glad I did today. I'm writing this review after blowing a tire on the highway this morning. And last week, running out of gas while in the middle of nowhere. Both experiences have made me very grateful that I had my warranty because I was able to have both issues taken care of quickly, at little expense to me. Connecting to a Delta rep was speedy, and my claims process was was simplesimple as 123. I will never not have an extended warranty on my car.

I'm so happy I purchased an extended warranty through Delta Auto Protect, because I was able to save so much money after having it for such a short period of time. I had an upcoming buisiness trip, and my car decided to malfunction the day before I was supposed to head out. I wasn't sure that I would have time to get my car fixed, but I called in to the Delta Auto Protect customer service line to inquire about my options. While on the phone with them, I had my car towed to a nearby garage, where they assessed the damage and shared that it would take about 4 days to fix because they needed to order a part. Please Stay away from this company and do not allow friends and family to be talked into a warranty It may see like a sweet deal because of the price but remember you get what you pay for and in this case it is less than what you pay for They will rip you off and lie to you repeatedly to avoid paying for your repairs. I would need a book to tell you all the specifics but y issue was never resolved and my car was in the shop for a month before I paid to get it out

I think I made a mistake buying this. Took the car to the dealership, had it evaluated. Delta said they will not cover a main part of the transmission. But the parts they will cover, they only want to pay the dealership less hours than what they say it would take to repair. Also, Delta will not pay the full price for the parts. I have emailed and called server times to get an itemized list of the hours and parts they will pay, but no responds yet. So far, I rate this serve poor but I will repost if they fullfill their promise.

Runaround and blatant lies. Do not give them your money. I purchased a third-party extended warranty from Delta Auto Protect. Recently I created a claim due to a loud high-pitched noise my engine began making. I took my car to a garage meeting Delta's requirements, and the garage determined that the noise was caused by my alternator belt tensioner, tensioner pulley, and idler pulley, which had been damaged by a major oil leak caused by a failure of the oil filter housing profile gasket. Delta told the garage that they would cover the cost of the gasket, but that the other parts do not fall into the category of "Covered Parts" in my contract. Today I had an appointment with my local Lexus Dealer. My right cv joint was leaking. We called Delta at 12 noon and was told that a rep would call back . one hour later I called and said no has called and was told that someone would call. Left dealership at 2 pm and went home. At 4pm I called for a third time and was told someone would call me back. I'm writing this at 9:30pm and still no one has called. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. A few years ago, I had my Ford break down right after my warranty expired. It cost so much just on repairs and towing. I was a fool not to get the extended warranty. Well I learned my lesson! I purchased an extended warranty through Delta right before my car decided to give out on me again.This time everything was so much easier, and much less expensive. It is never easy having mechanical problems but what can I say when you take extra step to protect yourself, it's not that bad.

Best company out there! Best coverage there is. Most people forget insurance only covers accident related situations! Delta Auto gave me the coverage I needed when my engine needed repairs. Best coverage, service, and cost!

I have filed several claims with Delta Auto Protect. And they have paid each and every one of them with very little delay. The only one that took more than 24 hours to authorize was the transmission issue I had because the auto shop was asking for a lot. Delta Auto sent us to an authorized ASE technician and solve the problem immediately. We highly recommend them. They put in real effort.
