NOTICE: On February 12, 2020, the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office filed suit against Omega Vehicle Services, LLC d/b/a Delta Auto Protect and its owners for violation of consumer protection laws. The complaint alleges that in numerous instances Delta Auto Protect failed to authorize covered repairs, wrongfully denied covered claims, failed to respond to claims inquiries, failed to refund consumers for contract cancellations, and otherwise misrepresented their business practices. This case has not yet come to trial and the truth of these allegations has not been adjudicated.

Delta Auto Protect's plans are some of the most affordable in the industry with industry-average restrictions and covered components. Warranties are backed by an A.M. Best "A" rated insurance company. The company offers specialty system coverage including high-tech electronic components and factory navigation systems.

The company's online reputation, however, has much room for improvement. It is rated "poor" by Trustpilot and F by the BBB. Many of the complaints about them concern a lack of customer service, difficulty in contacting them, and refusals to resolve customer disputes unless negative comments and reviews were withdrawn. Delta Auto Protect requires that diagnoses and repairs be conducted by ASE-certified mechanics.

It also has its own ASE-certified technicians on staff to facilitate communications between Delta and the repair facility, and to review diagnoses and estimates.

Delta Auto Protect reserves the right to supply the necessary covered replacement parts for a given vehicle, a reservation which has been the source of some customer complaints when the supplied parts did not function properly.

Delta Auto Protect has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau and a number of negative reviews and comments. The BBB also has an alert on Delta's page that states "It has come to BBB’s attention that the business is requesting that a customer(s) withdraw complaints filed through BBB as a condition of resolving the complaints. BBB does not withdraw complaints under these circumstances." The company's reputation on Trust Pilot is no better and earns it a "Poor" rating. Many customers complain that the company is very difficult to communicate with.

Last year I signed up for the Diamond plan with Delta Auto Protect and I've already been able to see the benefits. My cooling system went this Summer which sucks; especially when you're sweating in traffic. Luckily, its covered under my extended warranty so I was able to get it fixed for no extra cost to myself, before the worst of the heat hit.

Delta Auto Protect has really shown me what customer service should look like in the warranty world. After my car broke down (and so did I), I called the company to speak about my options. I was connected to a person quickly who was very focused and eager to help me get back on the road. She suggested tow places in the area and reminded me that towing would be covered. She advised me to call her once I reached an auto shop to file a claim. I found out what was wrong with my car and was able to get my claim approved. I felt like her instructions made me feel so much better. The unexpected breakdown really turned out to be a situation that was easily handled due to their great service.

We are extremely dissatisfied with your crude speaking customer service personnel, I've called over 12 times and put on hold for over 12 minutes EACH time. We received approval for a repair on Thursday at 9:47 AM and it is now Tuesday, 1:00 and STILL have not received payment that was approved 5 days ago! We have submitted the claim forms 3 times and still do NOT have any message from anyone.

biggest scam in the world! STAY AWAY! They take your money very fast but when it comes to actually providing you the service NO ONE IS EVER AVAILABLE! I purchased my Mercedes Benz G63 AMG Extended Policy. Took my car to the dealership the vehicle has been there for 4 days now. The claim was filled prior to arriving at the dealership. The dealership has been trying to get a hold of Aaron Lynch, I have been trying to get a hold of Aaron Lynch, NO ONE picks up, no one returns my calls. I just called them again and of course, they are closed. Now my vehicle will continue to be in the shop over the weekend with absolutely no resolution, a call or any feedback from this obtuse... I chose to purchase an extended warranty for my new-to-me car because it has more miles than I'd like and I know I don't always plan or budget for car repair. I'm a better car owner this time. When the tire sensors started defaulting, I remembered my extended warranty and since I had some extra time, I took my jeep into the shop that day. Delta was very easy to work with...even the repair shop said so. I paid the deductible and the repairs were done the same day. Very convenient! I'm glad I decided to purchase my extended warranty.

Recently I was on my way to work on a Monday morning, in rush hour with my kids to drop off to daycare, and my car engine just suddenly stopped. I couldn’t get it started in the middle of traffic lights. I called Delta Auto Protect and they arranged for a tow truck to come for my car and take it to the dealership. They also arranged for a rental car for me, who came and picked us up. When all was said and done, I only had to pay my deductible. Jennifer at Delta was great. I'm glad I got the extended warranty.

I purchased the extended warranty because I have to travel/drivel a lot for work. This trip I experienced a problem. They helped me get my car towed and found me a technician to do my repairs and have me on my way again. They also got me a renter for the two days that my car was in the shop. The representative on the phone was very pleasant and made me feel at ease. I was very pleased with the friendly customer service and fast response.

Delta Auto Protect has a really great extended warranty plan. When my care broke down at the end of my street, I had to call for help. Delta arranged for a tow to move my car to the shop and got me a rental car too. I am so glad because my car was in the shop for a week and I needed to get to work. When they called for me to pick up my car, I returned the rental, they dropped me off at the shop, and I paid my deductible. Them off I went. Now my car runs better than ever. I appreciate the great customer service that I got from Sharon at Delta. My warranty just paid for itself. I am one very pleased customer.

I was leaving work the other day and when I put my car in reverse, it went forward. I tried putting the car in park and it rocked, still going forward, so I put the emergency break on. I called Delta Auto Protect and they arranged for a tow and got me a rental. According to the mechanic my transmission was slipping. When my car was finished, I just paid the small deductible. Thanks Delta Auto Protect.

Delta Auto Protect is a great company. I was out and about one day running errands and my car made a loud pop and died. I was still in the parking lot, so all I could do was coast into a spot. I immediately called customer service and they arranged for a tow truck to come to me. They took my car to a nearby shop. Delta also arranged for a rental car. I was able to chat with the shop manager and then be on my way. I am so glad I had the renter because I had so much to do. I was able to use that until my car was repaired and then all it cost me was my low deductible. They are such great help and really quick about getting the help. I appreciate Delta Auto Protect.
