Cancellation Policy
Unless specifically mentioned otherwise in the cancellation policy, Agoda does not charge a processing fee for cancellations. Any cancellations received after the cancellation due date specified in the confirmation email (including requests made within this period) are subject to a minimum of a 1 (ONE) night cancellation fee, unless you are notified otherwise in the confirmation email. Failure to arrive at your hotel will be treated as a late cancellation and will incur a minimum cancellation fee of one (1) night, or more, per room, unless otherwise specified in the confirmation email. Any changes to your reservation must be made through Agoda and not directly with the hotel. This applies to change of dates, extension of stay, early check out, delay of arrival or cancellation in full or in part. Any problems or questions on your reservation prior to arrival or during your stay at the hotel should be directed to our Agoda Customer Support Specialists. We must be notified of all cancellations within our normal office hours from 08:00-18:00 (GMT+7).

However, a simple tab next to their filtering options leads to "secret deals," which promise high-end accommodations at steep discounts. These properties prefer to remain anonymous online, so customers don't know their exact identities until they complete their booking. While this might make some customers wary, as the information regarding the accommodation is deliberately rare, agoda only makes "secret deals" with 3 or above star ratings and over 7 in review scores.

I made a reservation with a clear understanding that I would not pay until the check in date (3 months away). The full amount was withdrawn from my account within 20 minutes of making the reservation. I called the hotel and they said that Agoda sent them payment from my account the same day as the reservation. I am still trying to obtain a refund

they booked the wrong day for me over the phone and i was charged twice. I have spent more than 8 hours on the phone and I still dont have my money back. it has been a month and a half. Staff is unwilling to help, unwilling to transfer to supervisors and calls are frequently dropped. I use booking sites like expedia, hotwire and hotels all the time and i am telling you i will NEVER use agoda again. SAVE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY AND YOU SANITY. BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the hotel I was scheduled to stay at shut down completely and authorized refunds to guests. However, per Agoda, I did not cancel my reservation within the allowed window of time, so they are refusing to issue a refund. I am out over $1,000 for a hotel stay I did not use because the hotel was closed due to a disease pandemic. Despite the hotel authorizing the refund via e-mail that I have provided to Agoda, Agoda seems to be exploiting this international tragedy to pocket money from former customers. Beware of this company!

BEWARE OF AGODA! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. In this time of a World Wide Pandemic, things are being cancelled all around the world. I had to cancel with a hotel because my event was cancelled plus our province (in Canada) has declared a state of emergency and all our borders are shut. Our National PM has told us to stay home. We are trying to get a hold on the COVID-19 virus and flatten the curve but AGODA sees fit to put peoples money in their pockets instead of doing the right thing and reimbursing people. Essentially the world has been shut down and AGODA sees a prime opportunity to get richer.

Sadly AGODA has been almost completely unable to handle the COVID situation. They ought to have spent some of their money on automated options to resolve the common challenges or come up with a blanket agreement with their partners to assist travelers who have been stranded. Instead, their systems have almost completely jammed up, their staff is virtually unresponsive, and you have to wait hours just to get put off and forced to call again. I am wholly unimpressed.

paid agoda $100.91 for room final amount. but went to hotel and no reservation and had to pay the hotel $124.44. that means agoda charge me $100.91 just for using their app. such ripp off. never recommend these guys.

Deceptive. Never do business with them. My experience started at midnight Dec 23. My flight delayed, I have to find a place to stay overnight. I searched online and place a reservation through the Agoda website. I followed the instruction on the website, select date: Dec 23, and also check in at 1:00 am. But I went to the hotel 10 minutes later, they said no room was available. They said the earliest check-in time for the date is 3:00 pm. 1:00 am is for the next day not the same date. If that was case, why the website provides this option. This is the step 1 cheating. But the hotel agreed to refund, but asked me to call Agoda and also Agoda to call her back for confirmation. I... Received an email from a reputable, actual hotel asking me to rate a room which I did not book in a state to which I have never been. Called hotel who confirmed that my name and email were connected to a reservation made by a third party--agoda. Gave me the customer service number for agoda. I called agoda where I was informed that the room was actually booked with them through getaroom, gave me a phone number and a reference number. I called getaroom, was told they could not find my reservation and was then put on hold for 10 munutes. I hung up and called back, the second peraon I talked to confirmed that there was a reservation tied to my name and email, but would not give any more... Read More
