Cancellation Policy
Unless specifically mentioned otherwise in the cancellation policy, Agoda does not charge a processing fee for cancellations. Any cancellations received after the cancellation due date specified in the confirmation email (including requests made within this period) are subject to a minimum of a 1 (ONE) night cancellation fee, unless you are notified otherwise in the confirmation email. Failure to arrive at your hotel will be treated as a late cancellation and will incur a minimum cancellation fee of one (1) night, or more, per room, unless otherwise specified in the confirmation email. Any changes to your reservation must be made through Agoda and not directly with the hotel. This applies to change of dates, extension of stay, early check out, delay of arrival or cancellation in full or in part. Any problems or questions on your reservation prior to arrival or during your stay at the hotel should be directed to our Agoda Customer Support Specialists. We must be notified of all cancellations within our normal office hours from 08:00-18:00 (GMT+7).

However, a simple tab next to their filtering options leads to "secret deals," which promise high-end accommodations at steep discounts. These properties prefer to remain anonymous online, so customers don't know their exact identities until they complete their booking. While this might make some customers wary, as the information regarding the accommodation is deliberately rare, agoda only makes "secret deals" with 3 or above star ratings and over 7 in review scores.

Agoda where do I begin. Has to be the absolute worst third party booking site. Booked a trip for my birthday and my daughters sweet 16s back in March of 2021 for an end of June trip with friends (11 on total) . They dropped my reservation two days before travel causing us to book the sister property Principe Bahia Akumel and raising the nightly cost so I had to pay an additional $800. Noone helped, not the hotel and def not Agoda they offered a $100 credit to book again with them, what a joke. Horrible. One star is being extremely nice. Please don't use Agoda if you care about your vacation plans.

AGODA is AWFUL! Their site had in big words "FREE CANCELLATION" yet they fail to tell you that there's a TINY LINK elsewhere NOWHERE OBVIOUS that exposes ONLY if you're under the 17 day window. I reserved at the 16 day mark and now they're telling me I will have to pay one night's price if I cancel. That's false advertising and deceitful! NOT an honest company and will NEVER use them again. HORRIBLE experience!

Terrible! Terrible! We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights 2 days ago. Today we decided to extend our stay to 6 nights. Their virtual chat tells us we have to cancel our current reservation then re-book a new one with the new dates so that's what we did. When we re-book, prices were much higher so I reach out to customer service. They told me since I cancelled the reservation, I had to pay a higher price because that's what the price is now. I explained to them that we canceled the reservation because that's what we were told to do. We didn't mind paying for the going price for the extra 3 days but it doesn't make since for us having to pay for higher price for the 3 days we already booked but... Read More

Flawed system. BEWARE you will still be charged!!! if you choose your hotel and put in your dates and the number of people, you MUST hit the search button even with the hotel information below. If you do not hit the SEARCH button, your dates will not change and if you hit "BOOK THIS HOTEL" which is the green button below, the dates you put in at the top of the screen DO NOT CARRY OVER and you will book a room on the date originally in the form. THEN if you have booked a room that is non-refundable, you will get the dates in your confirmation and they will be the WRONG DATES!! Deceptive advertising. Their website shows "Free Cancellation" with the lowest rate, which is the non-refundable rate. Minutes after booking the non-refundable rate, I contacted them through chat and they refused to change my booking to the free cancellation.

We booked park Motel and Cabins. In Florence Oregon Coast.It was well rated. We booked 2 nights and could not use our second night. Fleas, ,brown dirty washcloths, extremely hard bed and no coffee in tray for pot. Called for coffee to be stocked but none provided. Inquired about refund for 2nd night considering the miserable experience but front desk said never an option. I can see why. I do not recommend this place!!!

Beware Agoda has international charges which aren't represented in what you pay. Your credit card will charge you those fees separate.

BEWARE BEWARE!!!DO NOT BOOK WITH AGODA. You are not able to speak with anyone in customer service. If you have a problem their is nobody to call. AGODA sold us a trip to a resort that is closed. IBEROSTAR Punta Mita is closed due to Covid 19. We booked and paid for the trip and never received any correspondence that the resort is still closed. This is a two part problem. Iberostar also lied on the phone and said the beaches are open the resort is open. Neither company AGODA or IBEROSTAR made any effort to let us know they are still closed they had claimed they are open right up until June 10th 2020. Absolutely stay clear of Agoda.com. They have been the only third party company to stiff customers related to Covid-19. Expedia, airlines, Trip.com, and others have all been incredibly accommodating! Agoda will tell you that it’s up to the hotel, which is BS. My hotel in question is owned by Marriott, and the Covid-19 policy offers a full refund for pre-paid non-refundable rooms. Agoda lies and blames it on the hotel. My son got a letter from a hotel saying they’d cancel it, but the reservation is in Agoda’s hands. I will never do business with Agoda. Like I said, Expedia… no problem, and Trip.com… got a full refund the next day.

I had booked through Agoda but then my flight, etc was cancelled due to Covid - even though the hotel had a 100% refund policy for such cases, since I had booked through Agoda they refused a refund. Crooks as far as I am concerned!
