I have been booking hotel via online for many years and I've never experienced what Agoda.com did to me all the years I have been booking hotel stay. Unfortunately, I came across Agoda for the 1st time and booked a stay via their website on October 21, 2021. Agoda.com are crook and robber. I made a credit card payment to them for a stay at Swiss Hotel, Lekki-Lagos, Nigeria for just 1 night. After four days Agoda.com pulled another fund from my credit card again in the sum of $70.88 (paid in local currency). I contacted my bank (Zenith Bank) where they confirmed the fund was pulled via POS. Agoda.com however told me the fund pulled via POS was a surcharge. The fact was that my stay caused... Read More
I had to get a refund from my hotel stay since the hotel had construction going on Sunday morning at 730 AM next door.
Agoda decided to jack up the 1st night's booking price out of nowhere and proceeded to refund a very dismal remaining amount. That's called Business Fraud and as a customer I can't do anything about it. Apparently Agoda can alter the price that you agreed to book at to have a advantage on refund amounts. You have been warned.
I was charged prematurely for hotel stay. When I realized it I canceled within 20 minutes of booking. They would not refund my money $519! They are deceptive, hiding under trustworthy booking sites then you click them by accident. RIP OFF- NOT Customer FRIENDLY
I had booked a reservation with Agoda on September 05, 2021, for Hotel: Andalucia Golf Tanger City/Country: Tangier/Morocco; the Arrival date was: September 8, 2021, to September 13, 2021. Upon my arrival, the hotel refused to honor the reservation with all the evidence I provided during 3 hours of conversation. I had traveled for more than 20 hours from Miami to Tangier/Morocco and I had worked 12 hours shift right before my trip without any rest. As you can imagine, I was dead tired. I booked four nights at the Oceana Boutique Hotel through Agoda and the charge went through for this on the When I arrived at the Oceana Boutique not only was there NO RECORD of my stay, my info, but the dates I have paid for and booked through Agoda were not even available. Oceana Boutique did not honor my Agoda Booking and charged me anew since they had no record of me from Agoda of booking or paying. I had to pay Oceana Boutique directly for the two nights they DID have available of the FOUR I had booked through Agoda. The Oceana charged me full rate, so not only did Agoda charge me for a service THAT I NEVER RECIEVED but Agoda also promised me a discounted rate and four nights booked... Read More
I tried to give a zero rating, but couldn't.
I tried to book a reservation to the Magnuson Hotel in Commerce, TX. I didn't realize I was redirected to Agoda's site. They charged my credit card 300% the cost of the hotel room and when I tried to call and fix the mistake, it was nearly impossible to get through to a person. Once I did, the person's English was unintelligible and either they hung up or disconnected the call.
I got to my hotel and Agoda never made my reservation even though they sent me an email stating it was made. Do not use this service.
Terrible company - a fraud - RUN AWAY!!
Hours and multiple calls and still no resolution. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
This is a horrible place to get a hotel room. They send me a cancellation from the hotel because we never went because the hotel HAD HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and knew since we went through a third party that you couldnt get a refund if you wanted to. know I am going through a huge dispute with this company.

If you think your getting a Bargain with Agoda think again.They charged me Twice...I had $169.00 Agoda Bucks to Book another Hotel which I did and it "vanished" they charged my AMEX instead.$169.00 for an Approved with the Hotel Cancellation Refund then Charged me $361.00 for the same 2 nights at a same owner property 3 doors down,they "Price Match Guarantee" so I found the same nights for $87.00...should be $174.00 right?Nope so I opened a Dispute with AMEX,there based in Bangkok NOT in USA.Funny thing is I have a detailed conversation on my TYY Captioned Teephone so they cant go back on there word,its dictated because Im Deaf!!!
